Got a call last week from a committee chair of a local veterans group. He was calling from one of the catering venues I work with. They are hosting the veterans at their facility before, during & after the veterans parade. He wanted to know if I could provide some way for the veterans who were not physically able to attend the parade to still see it from a webcast broadcast by one of the local tv stations. Told him no problem.
He asked me how much it would cost & I told him I was having a veterans day special....no charge.
He seemed surprised & thanked me.
