Have any 420/44da owners ever add AC vents to the backrest of their companion helm seat, as seen in the below photo?
It’s a grainy photo, but it appears that the owner drilled into the hollow of the backrest and tied into the AC unit below to supply a flow of air directly into the cockpit seating area.
I saw a 420 for sale the other day that had a few vents across the top of the seat back that were the same size as the ones at the helm and am trying to find the listing again.
bump

While Cummins parts are coming in for 1000 hr service I swapped out the factory dash panels with F-P black panels w/ recess for the Axioms. Then added a remote card access. A buddy assisted in removing the OEM Helm Seat to add the new Helm seat by Arrigoni Helm Seats. More to come.

My Boat got surveyed today. Broker sent me these pics. The center bolt for the clutch was broken. I last used it Labor Day with no problems. Anyone happen to know the model?
This seems a bit odd anyone know what would cause it to break. I’m assuming drill and use an easy out to get the rest of the bolt out ?

I believe that's a Lewmar Gen 2 Series 1000, and if so that would be a shaft. If I'm right...here's a diagram.

Hey Tom….. the parts manual isn’t any help. There is a shaft but I am thinking that the socket/bolt that broke screws into the top of the shaft. That’s what I’m hoping anyway

I hope you're right Craig. I edited my earlier response with the best diagram I could find.

You moving up??

I think I had the same snapped clutch nut a few years ago....I used a needle nose plier and was able to get it out with clockwise turning. I was dreading the fight but it ended up releasing much easier than I imagined.

Usually they snap because someone accidentally overtightened it thinking they were loosening it
