Why don't you put the TV on the wall like this?

I use the area over the fridge for extra storage.

I didn't want to put one there because you lose that seating under the TV and I also like to lay on that side of the setee watching the TV over the fridge. It's not that important for me to have a 40" TV on my boat. I'm fine with the 22" above the fridge.

Anyone with a 410DA looking to sell their cockpit sun pad filler cushions? My wife and daughter are itching for some and our boat did not come with a set.

If you don't find one, I would think you could borrow one from an owner and have a copy made by a local upholstery place relatively inexpensively.

Hi guys

Can anyone tell me where I can find fuses / breakers for the front Lofrans windlass on my 410 EC from 2000? The windlass stopped working after a slightly "dramatic" situation the other day, and I afterwords found that the chain was jammed underneath the windlass in the anchor box in front. Everything worked fine until then, so I'm pretty sure I've managed to blow a fuse. The blue light in the windlass control switch at the dash went out and nothing happens when trying to activate the switch again. The foot switches don't work either.

There is a red button fuse for the windlass on the fuse panel in your engine compartment next to your batteries.

Thanks Boatdave and Boat Guy!

I found the red button fuse for the windlass on the fuse panel in the engine compartment, and also found a fuse in the anchor box at the windlass motor. After resetting the red button, I now at least have 12v on the windlass switch at the dash (at pin 2), but the blue light on the switch still doesn't comes on when I activate the switch. As this is a 8 pin switch; should I find 12v input on other pins as well, or could it be that the switch itself is gone? Anyone who has a wiring diagram / pin configuration on this specific switch in a 410? I've looked at Carling's web site so I know the typical configuration, but can't figure out how to adopt this to my boat.

I don't see the manual listed on searay.com for a 1999.

I don't know if it's a 2000 or a 1998 but my fresh water tank deck fill plate is on the port side at about the same distance towards the bow as the cabin door.

Found it it was farther forward than I thought thanks

Here's a question i may find out answer to myself today - does grey water (sink and shower) go into holding tank or does it go overboard?

Re: 410 Sundancer/Express Cruiser and 400 Sundancer/Express Cruiser **Official Thread

Standard config is all grey water overboard. The galley, both head sinks and the cockpit sink alll go directly to their own hull-side through hulls. Salon AC condensate and the aft head floor drain first go to the aft sump pump under the salon sole. The shower and fwd AC unit condensate go to the sump positioned more fwd in that hold.

Having issues with signaltone air horns, boat has newer compressor and seems to have good airflow, looks like someone has been inside ends of horns and messed with gaskets and diaphragms. I'm told there are rebuild kits but cant seem to source them. Any ideas? . Thanks!

I had a problem with my horns and was able to get a repair kit for the Signaltone Tornado horns which included a new diaphragm, spring and gasket. After reassembly, they worked perfectly. You can try Freeport Marine Supply in Freeport, NY (where I got mine since I am local to them). You may also be able to get them from Jim at BOE Marine (the sponsor of this site).

I think I blew an impeller? spent the day on a sandbar, when I backed in early in the day all was well, normal temps and exhaust sounds. When we were prepping to leave the port engine did not quiet down after initial start up, noticed right away and confirmed no water flow through exhaust port, shut sown ASAP. Limped to Marina on one and calling Mechanic this AM because of short week and holiday. hopefully this is only issue.

Sorry to hear about that. At least with the Port engine, it is easier to reach the impeller than on the starboard motor. If the motor was running while you were on the beach or at least getting set up on the beach, you most likely drew in sand that could easily ruin the impeller. I have changed the impeller on my motor, the Starboard, and it was fairly straight forward. The worst part was reaching it. At least the port motor’s sea water pump is easier to reach. You may want to consider having the sea water side of the cooling system back flushed to get any sand that may have been drawn into the system out. Also make sure you find all of the pieces of the impeller if they broke off and travelled down-stream.

Yeah that Starboard one looks like a B!%#$ ! Thinking(hoping) its not sand we were pretty deep in calm water , just time for them to go, looks like its been 3 years in the log book from the previous owner. Marina was all over it today and going to do both! hopefully I get good news later on.
