Fits perfect. That being said I took the original NorCold DE-461 out and have it sitting around. Still works and have all the parts. Should anyone need front panels, racks or any of the interior stuff for theirs I have it all.

I'm looking to monitor the voltage and current of the port and starboard batteries. Where would be the best place to connect a cable to monitor the current?

Does anyone knows how to fix the windshield rubber
Mine is gone
It is easy to replace it?
Should I buy it at marineMax or directly from Taylor made?
See picture

Taylor will most likely make you place the order with searay. Those seem to shrink over time. Good luck.

Yup , Taylor has this and you need 55 feet of rubber for the entire boat. If you own a sea ray, you need to purchase through a marinemax dealer. However this is not an exclusive item, and can be purchased direct if NOT a sea ray......if you catch my drift.

Ok, I called Taylor made directly and the part number for the front windshield gasket is 8319400
Price 3.82 per foot
Plus $ 25 handling fee
Now I need for the side sliding windows which is only 3/4"
The front is 1" wide
They sale it directly now

Did you use the same part for the front and side sliding windows?

Because the front windshields is only 34 feet?
Thank you for your reply

I just cut the corners during a good temperature day and then black siliconed the corners. If you are neat (which I am not) it comes out decent. Mine came out okay and no leaks 3 years running

I tried sending you a PM - your mailbox is full. You are probrably right, and ahead of me on the project. I have a box of rubber materials with no time to install. Good to know the sides are a different size.

Things I learned today:

1. Bring boots to work after a flooding storm
2. Get oil samples prior to a survey
3. "It's ready to make your own" in brokerish means, "...you get to do a ton of work".
4. "in showroom new condition" is apparently dialect and may vary from location to location. I've not been to the showroom where this applies to the boat in Buford, GA.
5. Only get a survey after you have oil samples and have had someone who knows you lay eyes on the boat.
6. Only buy boats from states you're allowed to carry a pistol in.
7. Ask your wife to get you beer after learning all this in one day. It's worth it once.
8. Enjoy your hot tub and fine cigar.
9. snore

So what happened? This was the boat with the non-running genny, right? What turned up in the oil samples?

Well, it is time to move on. I sold my 400DB. We are working on a deal for a Carver. I have enjoyed CSR. The help and information I have gotten has been invaluable. To Frank Webster, thank you very much. I joined the Carver site, but, it appears that nobody really uses it. So long!

Good luck with your new boat, hope you enjoy it and have a lot of fun, send us a picture of your new boat.
Are you going to live aboard?

John,

The genny is being repaired as we speak, but actually ran great. Results show 20% water. I've put in a post survey adjustment on the boat based on this so we'll see what happens. I have a feeling the owner won't negotiate and believes his boat is "perfect". I was REALLY hot under the collar about the listing and description provided to me. The genny has 1630 hours but the listing says 530. It is no where near showroom condition. Our '92 was in much better shape cosmetically than this boat is. Gotta detail to retail...

Mike, congrats on the sale!

Hello CSR 400DB owners,
It has taken me a few week to get through all the posts but the end is near! Thank you all for your time and effort for all the useful informative information - some posts have saved me hours of maintenance time.
I have a question regarding diesel fuel tank level senders as mine are inaccurate - 350l fill in P tank = 1/4 increase on the gauge, 175 in the S tank = over 1/2 increase on the gauge.
Has anyone installed Ultrasonic or any other level gauges?

Z.
