Steve, it looks great and I am very jealous. Nice job. GregWell, we did it. Ran into Florida Bow Thrusters at the Annapolis Boat Show last October and had a long discussion about swim platforms. Then my wife and I went over and walked on all five of the Sabres and Back Coves they had at the show. Nothing like the price of a new boat to make a hydraulic swim platform look inexpensive! We had been looking at new platforms for a couple years and weren’t happy with any of the after market ones we looked at. So we went with FBT. They did an excellent job getting “in there” behind everything to get the old one off and the new one on. No small feat as the exhausts had to come off. Bonus - they relocated my Reverso so it’s now easier to access! We splashed today. After one test run, it didn’t feel low in the stern at all - something I was thinking about. And that’s with full fuel and mostly full water. I find myself still “stepping up” to come in the transom, but I suppose I’ll get used to it. I love that the platform is no longer at the water line.

My guess is relay is under the dash as I think my compressor is there for a bridge mounted trumpet horn wired from the regular horn button . I’m guessing my locker horns were shot years ago. it’s something I hope to find out anyways also. There’s a load of posts about the horns , I haven’t read them all yet, e.g http://www.clubsearay.com/index.php?threads/40-sedan-bridge-forum.53961/page-271. I recall reading about the port main cabin speaker being removed to try to get access to the locker horns which if I recall was a fail, but maybe the cables are there. but I can’t find that post againHi. Does anyone know where is the relay switch for the horn installed? Where do the wires from the horn run from the anchor compartment?

Your welcome, did you see the other post where it stated cables are behind master tv. Also when mentioning main cabin I meant master. Good luck anywayThank you!
Anybody have the part numbers and best place to get AC Filters? I have two different sizes on the Sea Candy. I ordered the wrong sizes the last time but made them work. My model numbers SX12-Q5 smaller filter and SLX16-Q4
Thanks
Ha! RayO was acutally the one who traded lunch for it. Sorry but I don’t know the part number. I had to buy a brand new unit to free up the other one, which I removed before I tossed the failed unit. Best bet is to call Dometic. They have excellent customer support.argh! I did the same thing. Got two for the SX12, thinking they were the same units. Silly me. @ZZ13 (Bill), you had a spare that you sold for lunch. But you never answered the question about the part number! Lol. Do you know the p/n for the SLXR16-Q4 (16k unit)?

I have two defender part numbers written in my notes, 901528FIL605 and 901528FIL601
those would be dometic #'s 235000605 and 235000601 in case you want to shop them. I don't know off the top of my head which one is the SRX-12 or the SLXR-16, I always buy then together. Should get you going in the right direction.

Looking for advice on what owners use for cockpit seats where the original is no more as per my boat. I’ve looked at what’s available for boats and pontoons , bench seats etc, but the best stuff is either custom or in USA where I am not. And prices are not pleasant surprises. So I figured what do you use fellow cruisers. Separate seats, cooler box seats , ? Etc. Am after serious comfort. I still have the rear backrest in place .
I scanned many posts and seems the original had issues anyway with the slider.
Another option but a bigger deal effort wise is for me to make a box seat using glassed foam and epoxy , roughly the same footprint as the original but maybe squarer, Then add some custom diy thick faux leather upholstery
