310 Sundancer Thread (2007 & newer)

The one closest to door or away from door closer to mid cabin tv?

Ok here should be an easier questions-
There are 2 switch panels- 1 at main entrance has 4 swithes
1 at foward berth. Has 2 switches
Can you tell me the position of all switches to get indirect- LED lights to
Illuminate?
This should help me trace my problem.
New to me boat- don't know which switch or position makes them work.

As I said before - on mine the floor lights turn on with the leds. So quite possibly same switch at front that switches floor lights on/off.

Ok thanks there's a break somewhere between first light and electric panel ... So gonna run new line and for safe keeping an inline fuse.
Now onto the next problem-
Crisper drawer - not working any suggestions?
Thanks for everyone's quick responses.

Still think low voltage is the problem, we just don't know where the cause is. Pull your galley fridge and check the blink code if you don't have a meter. If the code says low voltage, buy a meter you are going to need it.

The switches near the cabin hatch and near the fwd berth are wired as conventional 3way household switches, like hallway switches. Regardless of whether lights are on or off, toggling either switch toggles the lights.

fsudelt I tried to PM you to get pics of your cockpit tv and davit installation. But it said your inbox is full...

update...i finally got to boat and wired up the LED ceiling lights. - I picked up power from the switch by cabin doorand ran it to first Led on starboard side. tada!now you people don't have to read about that problem anymore....now i have to replace my thermostat in my water heater and then tackle the chiller drawer fridge.thanks for everyones input.

Update - on my low voltage warning on port engine startup i was getting. It turns out the fuse block on starter solenoid was a little burnt and had some corrosion on it causing low voltage, and tough cranking. $35 and about 20 min and done.

Had the boat out yesterday and got a alarm for "high pressure shift gear" on port engine. slowed down warning cleared and all was fine for about another hour of usage. Alarm came on several times over the course of operating the boat for about 5 hours. I noticed some oil spray in bilge that appears to have come out of the dipstick. Any ideas? Does anyone know if this boat has a PCV valve. Or anything else that may cause pressure in the crank case. Boat is a 2008 with 6.2 Horizons DTS 310 Hours. Coming out of the water 10-28-2013.

I have an a/c question , How many shore power plugs are in the rear transom access of your 07-09 310 sundancer , if you only have one plug for a 30amp cord will your a/c run off of it at port?

Yes I wouldn't run the AC, microwave, and water heater at the same time
But 2 out of three sure.

So my led lights are fixed, replaced the thermostat and now I have hot water.!
The next problem was the chiller/drawer fridge- pulled out the main galley fridge, and found this beautifully crimped and crushed cooling line.
Looks like factory sea ray didn't bother to unwind the coil and crushed it up against the drain / thru hull.
Now I have to see if I can have a new line brazed on...

Looking for a trailer for my boat 2008 310 sundancer with bravo 3's .. Any leads on used or competitive pricing on a new one?

Trailers are not cheap.. 3 axle minimum for a 310 - And plan for 16-18.000 lbs. I had one 18.000 lbs made for mine from RealX Trailers - but only because Owens & Sons could not get their fingers out :) in time. Estimate $7000-$12000 for a brand new good quality alu trailer.

I wish I could find a used one , thanks for the info

Head over to THT - they have a trailer for sale forum : http://www.thehulltruth.com/trucks-trailers-sale-wanted-122/

But be careful buying used trailers - If it has not been looked after - it can become expensive to redo it. You can also post in the Classifieds here that you are looking for a trailer. And finding a truck that can pull it is just as hard :) Not many "normal" 4x4s can "legally" pull > 8000-10000 lbs.

Try pulling 14,0000-18,000 for our 310's!

I have a 2008 310 Sundancer, Wondering if there is a way to check the fuel gauge level while filling up at the gas station without starting the engines, with my previous boat I could just put the boat in acc mode and have power to the gauge to see how full the tanks were ????
