300 DB interior restoration

Doh! Damn! I was hoping this wouldn't happen.

You're best place to order is at www.yourautotrim.com

I went to the site and either they are modifying the site or they changed it (looks very bare at the moment).

The Weldwood HHR is here in 1 gallon containers - http://www.yourautotrim.com/noname37.html (just scroll down)

In the discount code line enter 'scottkeen' (no quote) for 15% off.

Do you have an air compressor? If so, I would recommend a Critter Spray gun. Just google it. If you don't have an air compressor, I know many people who have rolled this stuff out, but I can't comment because I never have. After the product is sprayed, it needs to be DRY before applying the material. Do some test sections on a piece of wood.

Hope this helps.

Doug

Edit: I did try to add it to the cart and it appears to work.

I can see your project is going on and you are accomplishing it all by yourself! Bravo!!! :smt038
Keep us posted…I’m starting to get bored after finishing mine

The Admiral has started up the interior again. She bought some teak veneer for the doors. I also had the mirriors replaced in the v-berth. Man those thing are expensive. We also had the upholstry guy come out and make some measurement on the dinnette cusions.

Here a few pics of the doors:

After the doors have had the veneer the one one the left has not yet had oil applied:

With the doors done, the Admiral started on recovering the v-berth trim and valances in the main cabin. We found the original color of the interior. Light blue.

Thanks guys. I relayed it to the admiral.

She found some fabric for the valances and v-berth trim.

Look how ugly the original colors are!

She finished stripping the old cloth and foam off the v-berth trim parts. She cleaned the wood, glued on new foam and quilt batting, then wrapped the cloth. She is doing a GREAT job.

Looks great! I love the fabrics.

Say hello to the Admiral for me.

I will.

We put up the first part of the v-berth trim yesterday! WOW, it looks great. We had to re-order the screw caps as they sent us the wrong ones, so I am hoping to put up the valances next week. More pics to come.

The admiral is meeting with the upholstery guy this week to go over the estimates. It looks like $1200 to completely re-build the cushions fr the dinette and couch/cabin bed. All the foam has to be replaced and some of the original wood backing was missing. We are also ordering some vinyl for the trim in the cabin.

Do you think $1200 sounds about right?

$1200.00 for all new foam and upholstery sounds like a pretty good price to me

$1200 seems about right. After all, you know what BOAT stands for don't you? Bring Over Another Thousand.

It is lookin' good, but, if the admiral is doing everything, what is the captain doing?

Just asking! :smt001

BTW, $1,200 sounds pretty reasonable compared to what I paid for upholstry work last year.

Taking orders from the Admiral of course!!

Just finished my tower and VHF radio install.

The admiral finished the valances and trim. It was my job to install them without tearing or messing up her job. Man that was tough. So for better or for worse here are a few pics...

Wow, looks awesome! :smt038

I had to bring the Admiral in to see this. She gave it her official stamp of approval (and she really liked the fabric too).

Great job tell your Admiral we are impressed
