300 DB interior restoration

Well just about done. The Admiral found some vinyl that matches the original. She did a good job. The cabin is coming together. All that is left is for the upoltery to be completed on the dinnette.

Well, okay, we will give you a little more time even though we have been pretty patient with you up to this point. :smt001

We got so excited today. We got out dinnette cusions back today and all I got to say is wow! The upholster guy took the nasty couch with him and is going to make some mods to the bench to make it look better. But today the tub is almost ready after 2 long years.

Have a Coast Guard inspection tomorrow.

:smt038Nice job. The upholstery looks great. I also like the updated counter surfaces and cabinet door pulls. Its a lot of fun bringing these old girls up to date isnt it. I have been restoring my old girl as well.

I can't take credit for it, it was all the admiral"s doing.

Thanks guys for the comments, I will pass them on.

Great job on everything, it really came together in the last couple of months! What did you use to resurface the counter tops? Is that a laminate, or a float on substance?

Finished! But I got demoted!:smt009

I got the couch home last Saturday and installed it. The Admiral was down winery hooping with her sister. I was working in the cabin and it got hot so I opend some windows. Well, I left the aft one open that night and it poured down rain. That window also has a tube above it that drains to bridge!

Admiral was not a happy camper and claims she can't leave me alone without me getting into trouble, so I was demoted from captain to boat boy......:smt089

Now she says she is getting some pillows......

Before is in thread 45.

Below is the finished look.

Well a few more pics. The admiral worked hard this weekend to clean up the cabin and supply the Alaskan Sea-Duction. She also recovered the V-Berth cushions. She did a great job!

Looks great, Tom! …the revenge of the eighties!
Are you actually using the helm in the salon? Doesn’t look too confortable!
