2015-16 Football thread - any team banter welcome.

I don't understand how any of those "Hail Mary" passes are ever completed...those defensive backs certainly couldn't play outfield in baseball.....no depth perception.

Except in baseball you don't have other really strong man pushing shoving and jostling to catch the same ball.

Statistically speaking, fewer than 10% of Hail Mary's are caught. Rodgers is way ahead of that stat.

That high throw of Rogers' gives the receivers time to get in position beneath the ball. That may be what gives him the higher completion percentage.

I think the hail mary is designed to get a flag thrown for interference and a first down that cannot be achived by playing normal football. It is used a lot more lately for the goal of free yardage from penalty calls against the defense than anything else.I meen if your team has 2 min. to move the ball and 3-4 downs to achive that why else throw a hail mary on 1st down?

That was thrown as time expired...

It also gives the MULTIPLE defenders time...no way it should ever get completed in my book...I know your guys wouldn't let it happen.

21-0 and then the next play....INT. Wow the birds are looking horrible. Pats Vs. Cats could be the future. I would love that.

My perfect prediction streak is in serious jeopardy. 6-0 is pretty good looking to go 7-1 after the Broncos win against the depleted Squealers.

Pittsburg is the first playoff team in history to start a playoff game without their leading rusher and leading receiver. It is also expected they have a limited ability QB.

Does Seattle have an unprecedented comeback in them???

Not, it is 73 points from the 40's and in the modern era Jacksonville beat Miami 62-7 in 1999.

Congrats on the win last night, looks like Pats are cruising again.
