Hey guys, been off the website since Oct 16th (ack!). We're still in, and the Admiral Ashli will probably be coming along too. It'll take me about a gazillion hours reading up on what I've missed on the site in the last month but I'm still alive. :)
 
If you haven't reserved a room or cabin, I would recommend that you go ahead and do so. This is not a huge resort by any means and we may single handedly occupy their entire community. Of course, I'm sure there will still be TeePees available for the straglers.

Also, make sure you reserve a slip. FYI, they are shared slips or double slips w/o a center finger. I have made special reservations for Mr. Bolts. He will be slipped next to one of the rental canbotes!

I would be happy to make the same arrangements for you. Just let me know. Hey, if one of the renters dings your boat, just call the big number on located on the railing or is it fencing on a canbote???

I'm still trying to talk the wife into it, what's the cancellation policy on the rooms? Anyone know?

I'll try to call tomorrow but I'm in a battle with MM AGAIN! so I may be on the phone with them most of the day tomorrow while at work.

Big Ditto on reserving your room. I have no doubt about us filling up the hotel. Way to go Charley on getting Mr Bolts a slip :lol: What a guy. I'll have to buy you a Coke for that one:thumbsup:
 
Or we could dock him next to the 92' Alumacruiser rental. What kind of drink would that get me?
 
Just wondering is there anyone else going from my direction? Was thinkin maybe if we Florida people maybe travel together the wife might not be so worried about going.
 
Updated the 1st Message with the latest member. Mark welcome along! Looks like we are at 14 boats now. What are we going to do if this thing gets to big for the resort? I wonder how many can sleep in one of the tee-pees(Grin)

It looks like we will probably not be able to make it :smt089

"The Family" has decided we should make a trip to NC for Christmas (maybe I'll get to see snow for the first time) we will be there from the 25th till the 8th.

Because of this unexpected trip it will eat up most of my vacation days at work leaving very little for the TN trip. I so was looking forward to meeting you all and having my boat in something other then salt but I don't think it will work out. Of course things could change between now and July but it's very unlikly we will make it.
