2008 Rendezvous TN River?

Yes,Yes Thanks Paul, You sure did a great job on the Charleston ones.

On the wife question, per Chuck's list, I feel sure there will be at least four wives, probably more, so let her know she will have ladies to hang with. Don't worry about the pull up there, get on I75 put the cruise on a comfortable speed and ride, watch the signs, go easy thru Atlanta and all will be well, you will run 75 until you are real close to Euchee.

I will also have two rugrats in tow.

Morph. I would not be two overly concerned about the tow with your equipment as you have a relatively new tow vehicle and trailer. As others have pointed out, I-75 from FL to Euchee is relatively flat terrain.

Oh, and Mr. Bolts, I do have pictures of you behind the wheel of a Ford with a smile on your face!

Morpheus, My wife and kids are coming also.

And only those of us driving from the east must drive over the mountains. You'll drive up I-75 which completely misses the Appalachian mountains. But even if you did have to drive in them, you would be fine with your truck.

I've updated the 1st message and as you can see most have wives and kids, some even have others wives and kids, etc coming with them. The more the merrier. Will really make the cookout great. Hope everybody likes hot-dogs and hamburgers. What is it they say how do you like your hamburger cooked. (Anyway the cook does it) (Grin) Do we have any cooks??? Do we want to have more than one cookout? I figure Thursday will be an all day event with the Chattanooga run.

How about this for Thursday?

Family Fun in Downtown Chattanooga

  • Tennessee Aquarium
  • IMAX® 3D Theater
  • Creative Discovery Museum
  • Chattanooga Choo Choo
  • Trolley Rides
  • Model Railroad Museum
  • Coolidge Park Carousel & Interactive Water Fountain
  • Walnut Street Bridge
Start off at the Tennessee Aquarium's new Ocean Journey. Discover a secret reef with bull sharks and explore a butterfly garden.
Next, check out the IMAX 3D Theater and swim with the biggest fish on earth in "Sharks."
After a nice lunch break at one of Chattanooga's downtown restaurants, visit the Creative Discovery Museum where children will explore the brand new Rooftop Fun Factory.
And everyone loves to take a trolley ride at the Chattanooga Choo Choo. This 15-minute tour takes you around the 24-acre property in an authentic New Orleans trolley used in the early 1900's. After the trolley ride, check out the model railroad museum, one of the largest HO gauge model railroads in the country! It features 3,000 feet of track and over 300 locomotive cars.
Then take a stroll across the world's longest pedestrian bridge, the Walnut Street Bridge, to Coolidge Park, a 12-acre urban park featuring an interactive water fountain and fully-restored antique carousel.

My wife and kids are in and friends wife and 2 kids are in. I pull my 270 SD from Columbus OH. to TN. about (350M) 3 to 4 times a year no problem.

Sounds awsome! I LOVE TRAINS! I sell N-Scale model trains online

What the heck is this? You invite any big boats to go along with you or is this some sort of exclusive club?

Chuck,

I assume you will have purchased a 290SS prior to the rendevous.........

Only if the real estate market picks up:grin:. Do you know any body looking for a Mountain retreat:smt100.

Added a couple more links and the latest updates to the 1st message in the thread. Make sure to email me your info on the 1st message if you have not already done it. We are at 12+ boats/families and growing. We've got boats coming from 7+ states now. Does this make this the official 2008 CSR Rendezvous

Chuck,

NO, NO, NO. It's not the Official 2008 CSR Rendevous. It's the OFFICIAL 2008 BIG BOAT RENDEVOUS!

Big Boats / Small Boats who cares just as long as we have good food and good friends what more can we ask for. Great to have you along Frank. This just keeps getting bigger and better.

If the big boats come we won't be able to have our secret small boat meeting and talk about them big boat guys like they talk about us small boat guys when they get together

However this could be a problem cause if I win the lotto tonight (or sign up a lot of businesses for merchant processing) I'll be on of those big boat guys.

None of the small boat guys have four screaming children, two stupid dogs, one angry wife or a sub-harmonic distortion balancer. Since we can only get one or two people on our small boats we could never talk about the big boat guys. Come on down Gary, Frank will be there to back you up. Ya'll can rent the resorts pontoons.
