2008 44 Sedan Bridge Purchase

Congrats!! It just goes to show that there really is a boat out there for everyone if you are patient and keep looking!

What a coincidence! I have house on the water envy.

I would love to keep my slip on the sound, just across from the Gulf to remedy that, but, we're starting to run into some issues (on an Air Force Base, no less!).

People are squid fishing on our floating docks every night. It seems they can't be stopped. The docks got trashed. I spent 3 hours cleaning them, then raised a stink. Someone kicked out my shore power off the bottom of my dock box last night. I still haven't gotten approval to put in more pilings for a bigger boat - after over a year of planning. We may be moving. I love my spot, but I just can't believe the lack of respect or even decency out of our military community these days. We're getting really soft as a nation. We should all be scared.

John

That was a big part of my decision to leave the base marina. People have no respect for others property and consider it "community". We are looking forward to you joining us over at Pier!!!!! Which end are you going to try to get on?

Congratulations on the new boat, John! Gorgeous, just gorgeous. Looking at those photos, I think I feel some sort of fever coming on

Thanks again to everyone. We're really exhausted - I mean excited.

I don't know. Can I fit on your end? Either way, I'd like to have a low deck built up behind the boat - like a pseudo floating dock (similar to some at Baytowne).

Congratulations John,

Beautiful boat. I agree with you - it looks better than the '08 47SBs as well.

"Just pick up a few 'green slips'" and it will be covered!

John, you better get some good videos of the turbos spooling up and running on your sea trial.

Congratulations John and enjoy. Hopefully you will have her headed south shortly.

Congratulations John. She's a real beauty. But, white? What will occupy your time now previously used maintaining that blue hull? :) Good luck with her! Sincerely, Brian

Congrats on the purchase!

I know at least three 44 owners on Lake Michigan that will be thrilled that boat is gone. They had a difficult time pricing thier yachts last fall with the incredible offering that was being made on yours...

The wife and I spent a little time crawling around yours last October but couldn't pull the trigger because it was still outside of our price range.

The Northpoint SB staff has a ton of expertise and should do a fine job taking your bridge off and packing her up.

Congrats again, she's a beauty!

John,

Awesome looking boat. Congrats to you and your wife on your purchase. Enjoy it to the fullest!!!! :smt038

John, That's a very nice boat. Congrats. Enjoy it. I missed it in the thread; when is she coming home?

Thanks guys. Should be ready to ship at the end of next week. I'm trying to find the right shipper right now.

John,
This is who I used to ship the 400EC from Key Largo to Annapolis. kept me informed and delivered ahead of schedule. If you decide to go with him let him know I sent you. He's a good guy and did very well by me.
