After a little bird watching, we continued on up into Coffeepot Bayou. Within about 1/2 second of my wife asking, "Wouldn't it be great if we saw a Manatee?" one popped up just ahead of us. Then, we saw an alligator sunning on top of the water (no pic - too far away). As we continued around, we found 3 more manatee's. There was a Cow with a Calf.

They have a local Farmer's Market here on Sat.'s complete with live music. I felt the need to try my green thumb again after several years. So now, the boat is definitely a home.

REALITY CHECK!!! Back to work. My first landing in the 320 was in gusty winds with blowing snow. Hey, if you can't land these things in these conditions, you need to find another job. After passing my low ceilings, gusty winds, and blowing snow check, I got to try my landing-on-the-pier-in-maximum-crosswinds thingy over the East River into LGA.

Last ones until I figure out how to re-load programs that connect my phone to my laptop (ie Blue tooth....)

The cat decided she was going on a Dinghy ride with or without us. This act leads to a new word - Cataway.

Kevin and Nicole arrive and park right across from us.

Biking and Boating (oh, yeah, and Bag O' Cat).

Full Marina.

Big Boat, but dang, do they sit low or what?

Great pictures John. Looks like you are taking advanatge of (and enjoying) all the things downtown St. Pete has to offer. We'll try to get you over to Hula Bay in Tampa for lunch/dinner and few cold ones. They have live music on the weekends and good food.

Here's a video of a C-130 flying over as we cruised South along the Coast from Tarpon Springs to the inlet to Tampa Bay. I thought I turned it off after watching the plane out of the back window, but I had left it on. I don't have video editing, yet. I'll work on that. You can just turn it off when you start seeing it bounce around randomly for now.

CLICK ON IT:

Thanks for posting the pic's John.
Now the Admiral wants a boat like yours and a ring like your Admirals....:smt021
Looks like there is no early retirement in my future. LOL.

I had to go back and look for the ring. It's her original solitaire with an anniversary ring guard around it. It makes a very nice combo (for a reasonable price, if there is such a thing).

Great pics as always John, Thanks for sharing. .

That cat in the bag is sooooo funny. :smt043

Ok, This month has been completely haywire. Since I last posted, we had the Indy weekend, the sound-fast boat weekend, the Funk Fest weekend, the car show, and my Sister-In-Law/husband week. I have worked a few days most of those weeks. We have traveled to Panama City twice. We have celebrated my Dad's 80th (for 3 days). Vacation is tough! I have several thousand pics to sort through (slight exaggeration).

I have missed Perry's birthday too - sorry, Perry. We have been jam packed. Also, we were sick for 2 of those weeks until my SIL's visit, then we got sick again, and my wife is still sick. I'm mostly better, just in time for a trip tomorrow.

QUESTION: We will be leaving the Vinoy on the 13th of April. We plan to cruise inside to Tarpon Springs. Where should we stay in Tarpon?

Hi John, sounds like you had a great time in St. Pete. I've been sicker than a dog too. I'm fighting "walking pnemonia" right now. All three of us have it and it's been a long week+. Went to the doctor on Firday so hopefully the meds kick this thing in the tail. Let's try and get together for a beer before you go. Let me know what your schedule is.

Curious - What meds? Any antibiotics or just cold meds? We've had it bad.

John/bucit. I hope you guys get to feeling better... never good to be sick...

Thank you. I'm getting better. Wife's still hacking away.

Maybe it's a Nationwide epidemic! I have been hacking since the Vegas trip early March and now have relapsed and can't seem to stop the hacking cough! Part of it I imagine is hay fever with all of the late rain we have had out West. Considering the Country has seen the warmest March on record, ours has been very mild and 5 to 10 degrees less than normal.

Amoxicillian. He was going to prescribe a Z-Pack but gave me the other so both my wife and I could take it. I'm still coughing for minutes at a time but it's starting to get better.
