Boy, isn't that the truth. No offense against gas boats, but when I cruised in gas boats, I was always stressed over what might go wrong next. With the diesels, I just sit back and relax. It's probably just me because my gas engines did very, very well, but, they were running at 3450 RPM, and now, the diesels purr along at 2280. And, when you go the back of the boat on plane, the power is overwhelming.

Quick update John's computor is having issues. He should have it up and running soon he hopes. For anyone in the St Pete area today you are invited to come hang with us at the Vinoy marina. We will be doing a cookout around 4:00pm. John requested that you bring your favorite beer and something to through on the grill. We guarantee a good time and hope to meet some CSR members.
 
Kevin's right! Come join us. My computer is still mostly toast, and the Wi-Fi here sucks, but, what I have been able to accomplish is making my phone a hot spot and hooking directly to my computer in order to be able to quickly transfer all photos. I'll see if photobucket will take them now. 4G with a phone as a hot spot ROCKS!

I use the 4G AT&T also as a router. Its faster than my vios at home. Its great for boating and RVing when you need to get some business done. Thanks for the invite but golf party and head to Daytona real early for the 500. Hope your enjoying the Vinoy - its one of our favorites. The visiting baseball teams usually stay there in season.
 
Thanks John, we had a great time on Saturday. It was a pleasure meeting Brian, Kevin, the wives and your family! My little girl had a great time with your daughter. It really made her day. Tell her thanks too. Hope to see you guys again soon.
 
Thanks to John and Shelly. We had a great time over the weekend. When we left Sunday morning it was a little rough in the bay but made your way ok. When we were about one hour south of Anclote the CG started calling a Pan Pan for a sinking 18 to 20 foot boat around Anclote. By the time we made it to the river a FWC patrol boat had picked the four people out of the water and had taken them to Anclote park to a waiting ambulance. Hope all was ok. Great meeting all and hope to get together again soon. I will be back to St Pete for the Grand Prix.

I was thinking about you guys yesterday. I got up early to played golf and the winds were blowing pretty good. Did you take the ICW home or the outside?

We arrive at the Vinoy, tie 'er up, and then explore the area a little. Beautiful sunset and dusk.
