So, we took this jaunt to visit our Yankee friends and made a stop in Baltimore for a couple of days:

The next day we went over and checked out the aquarium. This place is really cool and if you are in Baltimore, you should make the time to go. They have all kinds of exhibits, including sharks and bottle-nosed dolphins. They have a tropical rain forest and a bunch of folks who want to take your picture, even if you are carrying a camera.


















































































Outside they have a piece of steel from the World Trade Center.

Thursday, we mosey out of Baltimore in crappy weather, up the Chesapeake, through the C&D Canal, out into the Hellaware Bay, through the Cape May canal and out in to the Atlantic Ocean and promptly run into 4-6 foot seas, maybe bigger.

I have to organize the photos, so I'll start up again later.

So, Friday rolls around and our special dignitaries arrive. They are Tim Schiek, President of Sea Ray Group and Brad Anderson, Vice President Marketing and Planning, Brunswick Recreational Boats. We do some intros and a few of us have the rare opportunity to sit down for a chat with the big wheels. Since it is not every day you have a chance to chat with the President and one of his right-hand men about their company, those of us who did felt very honored.

The chat ranged from our Club Sea Ray loyal support for Sea Ray to what's on the horizon.

We hope that Tim and Brad left us with a better grasp of the "cruising" boater and our culture.

The photos are in no particular order. Tim Schiek is in the light blue Sea Ray shirt with the Nike swoosh and Brad Anderson is in the dark blue Sea Ray shirt with the Nike swoosh.

So, there was this guy on the dock, you see. And he was wearing some bars on his shoulders and looked like some kind of fancy pants big shot Captain or Sea Ray spokesperson or something. We look down the dock and here the guy is schmoozing up to Mrs. C. and Mrs. Seagull.


The next time I see him, he is off smooching on Sarametoo's daughter:
