1st Annual Dominic Annunziata Memorial Rendezvous -Farley State Marina, Atlantic City

And don't come off until that s*#t is fixed.

Re: 1st Annual Dominic Annunziata Memorial Rendezvous -Farley State Marina, Atlantic

I am still on my boat and have been since last weekend.

Your sponsorship towards the event is appreciated. Too bad I wasn't able to meet you this time. If my plane doesn't arrive soon I may qualify as a resident and will need to send for my boat! Almost 2-hours late already...

Re: 1st Annual Dominic Annunziata Memorial Rendezvous -Farley State Marina, Atlantic

I still owe Ron $107.

Kenny don't worry, you don't want to meet Gary without his Boot Stripes. The Genie not working was a Big Problem
'cause he couldn't Wrap last years Weenies in tin foil and heat on the Manifold for the "Table of Gods"... he would have had to Really Cook Something!!

T-shirts?

We didn't have no stinkin' T-Shirts and we certainly did not give 132 of them away for FREE

What I want to know is how Gary's 21 year old managed to make it to Atlantic City and GW could not. Here he is with Rusty. And no, he does not have a bunch of free T-shirts in his hands!

Another great CSR rendezvous... Great to meet Tim and Brad of Sea Ray. hangin' with Rusty is a college course in Sea Ray Boats and all things boating, just being in his presence is like getting a boat knowledge injection and all who were fortunate enough came away with needle marks. Tim, man... I take back all the sneaker boat jokes on behalf of everyone, that boat is laid out well and thank you sincerely for having me. It's just great hangin' with everyone, we have a great group of boaters here. Rick, Ron... all I can say is you get better with age...

And thanks to Ron's input, all new Sea Ray boats will come equipped with Service Bars, thanks Ron.

Gary's Hot dogs were amazing, I ate 3

And for all who knew Dom... Linda was just overwhelmed. He's smiling and raising a glass.

We attempted to pull off a tribute to a fine man, who left us too soon...

I am gratified that folks are saying we succeeded.

Just got off of the phone with Linda. She had a great time. Someone found a life ring with One Sweet Day's name on it and left it on her front door this weekend (It's been missing since Sandy). What timing!

Re: 1st Annual Dominic Annunziata Memorial Rendezvous -Farley State Marina, Atlantic

Yes it was a great tribute to a great man. It looked like Linda really appreciated it. Great job Ron and Rick and congrats on a job very well done. For those not there, you cannot appreciate how hard these two guys worked (before and during) to make this a great event. I will have pics at some point.

Mike, very nice to (finally) meet you! All boat guests should be so gracious... Not only fixing my slow wet bar drain, but risking your life in the bowels of Atlantic City to get us a bottle of Ketel One... Way over the top and most appreciated! And thanks for the kind words about the sneaker, she really is a great boat. Again we made the ocean and delaware bay trek without tipping over, sinking or otherwise imploding. But she does look like... Well, you know!

Plenty of catching up with people we may have not seen for a while, boating stories, ball-busting, bilge diving, putting faces to "aliases," friend-making, and above all, laughter. Dominic was not there in body but he was in spirit - in our minds and hearts.

Also, for those of you who missed the event, you also missed a great opportunity to interact with two dignitaries who took time out of their busy Friday to visit with us. Tim Schiek, the President of Sea Ray and Brad Anderson, Vice President Marketing and Planning, Brunswick Recreational Boats (Sea Ray, Bayliner, Meridian) and formerly the President of Harris FloteBote came for a visit and met with some of the folks who attended the event.

We all appreciate their concern and interest in our online forum.

Great to finally meet you and your wife Marshal!

Re: 1st Annual Dominic Annunziata Memorial Rendezvous -Farley State Marina, Atlanti

Pretty late post Carter! Me, I just arrived home after a nice long flight delay. I may sleep in a bit tomorrow...

Re: 1st Annual Dominic Annunziata Memorial Rendezvous -Farley State Marina, Atlantic

Glad you made it home Ken - great to meet you and your wife. Hope it wasn't Delta that was so late!

It's an "early" morning on the boat here in Chattanooga - 63° - just a tiny taste of fall this morning...

Re: 1st Annual Dominic Annunziata Memorial Rendezvous -Farley State Marina, Atlantic

Underway from Annapolis this morning on our last leg. Chesapeake Bay is flat and winds are calm. Great day for being on the boat.
Hope everyone has as good of a Monday as us!

Re: 1st Annual Dominic Annunziata Memorial Rendezvous -Farley State Marina, Atlantic

We got back this afternoon about 3pm after stopping in Cape Charles to take on a load of cheap gas ($3.66/gal).

I am starting to organize the photos tonight if I can keep my eyes open.

601 miles total roundtrip with out any significant events until I get 2 miles from the dock and some headboat captain (I use THAT term loosely) decides to get in a right of way squabble with me while I am the stand-on vessel.
