Hello All. I am new to this site and was wondering if anyone knows if my 1989 22OV hour meter runs off the ignition (key on) or engine run time? I have the 5.7 liter engine and the hour meter is not working so I would like to trouble shoot it and get it working again or just replace. Thanks

So boat is in storage. Has electrical short that causes 117 volts to travel from window frames to ladder leaning on side of boat Hull to get in and out. No power available at the console. Where is the converter located so that I may be able to find the short and get it fixed?
