Raise your drives and look at the props. I bet you have a marine growth problem either on your props or bottom (or both). WHoops, just re-read your post and you already had the bottom power washed. My next guess would be a fuel issue.

Yes you can reuse them - assuming they are in good condition. Make sure both sides are resurfaced and all old gasket material is scraped off. Also, it wouldnt hurt to repaint them with a fresh coat of the appropriate spray paint.

Someone told me to look at the main electrical connector near the engine that goes to the helm? I am fairly certain my gauges are all analog - no plugs with pins at the back of them, just two/three wire hookups.

I should know this and I am fairly certain that I do not have smartcraft gauges but need to know. 2002 Sundancer 240 with the 5.0EFI motor. The only digital aspect of any of my gauges is a LCD hour meter in my tach. Any method of confirming smartcraft or not? Connector in the engine?
