We made a offer on a 1993 40 express with 3116 cats 300 HP. Going to see the boat this week. Boat is now in fresh water, but has had a short time in salt. Engines have been rebuilt and now have 350 hrs on them. Can anyone help with advise on these engines. Is the 300Hp cats enough power for this...

In the early 90's the salon windows like to leak. Check for stained carpet around the windows in the salon and v birth. Parts are becoming N/A on the quick silver gen set. We purchased every spare part for the gen we could find. Other than that we had not had any problems. Love the express...

Nice looking boat. I have looked at the 510 two stateroom layout and the salon is huge. The third stateroom has to take up room in the salon. The only 510 with three staterooms I can find is in CA.

2,200.00 that a start. Purchased a 1981 310 sedan. Wife found out when it was in the slip. She hates boats told me to sell it. Sold it and bought a 1993 370 express and we are still married. must be all about the money.

That's a tuff loss. We just had to put our golden to sleep after 15 great years. The last day with her was so bad, all I did was cry like a baby. Still think of her every day. Sorry for your loss.
