Hole in the Water Club

Oh, oh, hole in the water, got a few of them and love every minute of it!!! So I am new around here as I just bought my first Sea Ray last November. Picked up a Sea Ray 300 Sedan Bridge for $2200 and am super excited about it. Cant wait to get it back here to my cruising grounds of the Upper Chesapeake Bay soon. It is currently over in Cape May NJ. This will be my birthday present to myself in April as my wife doesn't know about it yet! :wow:So, do I qualify to join the club now?

2,200.00 that a start. Purchased a 1981 310 sedan. Wife found out when it was in the slip. She hates boats told me to sell it. Sold it and bought a 1993 370 express and we are still married. must be all about the money.

Well, I thought my 1977 WE240 would be the perfect family/fishing/skiboat. I can honestly say it qualifies as a "hole-in-the -water" because I hide the repairs I make to it as home repair costs or new power tools when I explain where the money went. My HITW (Hole-In-The-Water) is now a Spot-in-the-driveway for the last 2 years. I just finished replacing the binncle-throttle/gearshift with a side mount version. That internal nylon connection lever broke and no one has an economical replacement (Under $100). So, I should be good to go in the 2013 Spring.

Ok...I officially miss AMFM! Weekends and lunchtime just aren't the same!

Funny timing, Mark. Just today I found myself staring at pics from this summer and wishing I was on the boat. Great boating weather, too! 7 day forecast dry and in the 60's and there my boat sits in a lonely building on blocks. ;(

Oh ya Shaun, it was gone early in the week just like I figured it would be. Temperatures here are in the high 40s, low 50s. We've also had lots of rain. Sure glad that AMFM is shrink wrapped!

Define warm...It was in the 20s here in Atlanta last night.

FWIW- I'm taking the boat to my shop on Tuesday in preparation for the winter to-do list.
I've GOT to work on my teak-
Depth finder
VHF Antenna
GPS/FF combo
More buffing and wax
Maybe a second bimini for the back 1/2 of the cockpit...or front and side curtains for bad weather. I'm undecided on that.

Actually that's about it this year.
