Thanks everyone for the great information. I walked away yesterday. Actually met the seller as well. Meticulous person. Kept a log of everything he has done to the boat maintenance wise. Professionally serviced. Bought fuel from the same place I buy fuel since the boat was new. He is...
All,
I am in contract on a 2007 Sea Ray 290 Amberjack. The survey went amazingly well until we got to the engines. The boat is in perfect condition, dry as a bone etc.. I had Marine Max do compression which came back bad. The owner had his own service company repeat the tests as follows...
I have the Beam 35 and just changed the bag. There is a filter on top of the motor that also needs to be replaced. I don't want to break the housing. Does anyone know the best way to open that and change the filter? There are 2 metal clamps on either side of the motor.
Thanks,
Dan
So, I admit I am not an electronics buff. I installed my new C 97 and for the life of me, could not figure out how to put the D@#$ SD card in a slot that it would not fit. But, the Navionics person I bought it from swore it was the correct card for the C 97. I brought it back home and was...
I currently have a c70 that is giving me some problems and it appears the Raymarine C97 would be a good replacement for the space as well as integrate with my old radar and autopilot. Has anyone done this and specifically on a 203.5 340 sundancer?
Any help, advice, tricks would be appreciated...
I would stay with Richardson's if you travel a lot. If you don't, the cost seems like a waste for all the extra areas and ports of call. It might be better to get a back up GPS like Navionics for your smart phone or tablet for 30 bucks.

Make sure you ask for the 20 bucks in restaurant dollars. They have a midweek special. Both The Keys and the Boardwalk you can use the credit. We have had good food and service this summer

Just a big shout out for Raymarine fixing my mic on my Ray 215 vhf. As all your posts stated, it was 75.00 plus shipping. Much better than purchasing a new one. But, the big shout out goes to their customer service and Linda who got it back to me in record time, ready for our summer cruise.
