I currently have a c70 that is giving me some problems and it appears the Raymarine C97 would be a good replacement for the space as well as integrate with my old radar and autopilot. Has anyone done this and specifically on a 203.5 340 sundancer?

Any help, advice, tricks would be appreciated.

thanks,

Dan

I replaced my c80 with an e95 and the new MFDs don't work with the old radoms. I am not sure about the autopilot because I don't have one. Here is the thread with my retrofit. http://clubsearay.com/showthread.php/58925-2005-340-DA-Helm-remodel The c80 is bigger than the c70 so you may be able to reuse the panel that the c70 was in. In my case the new e95 was wider but shorter so I have to have a new panel made.

Yes - new models require the new digital radar.

c95/c97 is POS - e95/e97 is much better. The button interface is terrible (IMHO) I had it on my boat for 2 months and replaced it with Simrad NSS8.
