Can anyone tell me what the appropriate amount to pay for a 2003 or 2004 340 SDA. Salt water owned with Genny. I'm looking at both.

My friend's 05 340DA with around 500 hours, Fully loaded with everything (except radar), fresh water all its life and looked like it just rolled off the line at Knoxville just sold for around 106K. He had it listed on and off with the regional Sea Ray dealer for the last couple years. Not sure if that helps any. A broker would be able to access soldboats.com comps to see what similar boats are selling for in your region. As I understand it that is fairly accurate. I say fairly because it relies on the selling brokers to enter the sold information.

I'm not sure exactly how accurate this is but a dealer once told me a boats price drops roughly $12K each year until it reaches its "wholesale" value, meaning its inherent value as simply a "boat". I guess what he was saying is that a new boats value drops off quickly until it reaches an overall baseline value as an "older" boat. I've looked at alot of boats and it's funny, the $12k per year does seem somewhat accurate.....

Just bought a 2002 at $60,000 with 8.1 Horizons....was listed for the season at 79,900.....can't speak for anything newer sorry.

I have mine listed for $97,400 and she has about 640-50 hours on her.

Bruce, yours is a pretty clean boat isn't it? I would think it should be moving if people see it in person.

She really is a clean boat. I just need to take the time and call Jim and pay for an ad, I'm just busy during the day trying to get my phones ringing again because business is really slow.

I do have her listed on YW and Boat Trader, she's the only 340 in "New Orleans" for sale.

Anybody need a wheelchair

I have listed my 2002 340 at 85K and it is in perfect condition with new canvas and all and haven't received one call on it. Not sure what the market is now on these boats!

Boats have been moving pretty well out here. It does need. To be the right boat, in good condition at a fair price. I have friends selling a big shoe and a really big shoe (390MY & 480MY) so they have not had much luck. Others are moving.

I can can tell you from my search here in the Midwest that the going "listed" prices for '99-02 340's has been $65,000-$79,000.......as mentioned above I just bought an absolutely pristine (I don't think the owners even used the berth area of the boat) '02 that had been listed at $79,900 all summer for $60,000.

Not sure what being on a coast does for prices.

I did....from Table Rock Boats and thanks

How exciting. Was the boat docked at Kimberling city? I saw they recently reduced the price, so I knew someone would snatch it up. Do you have a house/condo at LOTO?
