How is the fortress on a rock bottom?

I have a 37' cruiser and looking for recommendations on size of anchor for stern to prevent swing when spending the night on the hook. Planning a trip to the North Channel.

Thanks, I saved a small area using a sanding block. I was surprised how uneven the swim platform actually was. It lightened it up a fair bit but I glad to hear it will darken up quickly. I have more to do but wanted to see how this area turns out.

Has anyone sanded to remove stains? I have boat polish that got on it and no amount of washing with a pressure washer has removed it. The manufacturer recommends sanding it. Has anyone tried it and how were the results?

Looking for feedback or any suggestions with the install. Where did you locate EV-1 Attitude Heading Reference Sensor (AHRS)? It must be kept away from the compass and the electrical components to prevent interference.

You should have checked the alignment with an alignment tool before you pulled the bearing. This way you know the engine is aligned with the old bearing. After installing the new bearing you may need the tool to adjust the "eye socket swivel" of the bearing to line up. Once you know that the...

Thanks that is helpful. I have a Volvo drive an the bearing is in much further then on a Merc. I just don't know how I am going to line up the grease hole with the grease fitting. I have a alignment tool with a bearing driver but not sure how I am going to make sure the bearing doesn't turn...

I have a 2004 C80 with radar and was told one of the software updates remove the overlay option. My manual said it was doable and it drove me crazy trying to figure it out.

Looking to put in a Raymarine Evolution auto pilot in. Does anyone have one that could comment on how well it works, was it an after market install, was it difficult to install, how well does it work etc.? Has anyone hooked it to a C80?
