I see that they are trying to fill an order for 25 Burgee's that we could display on our boats if we wish. With all the members here and all the valuable info. provided at NO COST to us I am trying to figure out why the order quantity is not up in the 100's ....Come On- it's $30 bucks - show some support to CSR. I read about all these gatherings all over with group members and see that there are over 1400 registered users here and the orders are at something like 20 now-What are you wating for Christmas? I don't know if there is any profit in it for the admin. (there should be right?) but there is a quantity discount for a larger order-Let's get ordering..... On our boat we have additional clips for different burgees that we fly for different events-if you don't want to fly it from your boat, heck put it up in your basement bar or garage for conversation!

I am going to order two but I have a few electronics I wanted to order also... Haven't finished my list.

geez... nag nag nag.

Petep-

That's some quality nagging there buddy! But effective, I had been meaning to order (even though the colors don't match... and YES I know I had the chance to weigh in on that too but didn't) but finally did today. And I feel much better now!

Rock on, CSR!

Just ordered. For $30 Dollars and to help support the site I will take a chance on its looks!
Thanks for the reminder Pete. JC

BOE makes like $4-6 a burgee, but this is before paying the people that process the orders, each order will be touched by 3 different people, etc, so its a break-even at best. Thats why I just pass along the discount at the price breaks. I haven't counted yet today but I think we must be up to about 25 at this point.

I really liked the new logo design and was hoping the colors of the burgee would be similar as well. That Silver/gray or Blue-ish gray really looks sharp. I'm opposed to Black and Gold simply because I hate the Pittsburgh Steelers :smt021

Well I love the Steelers but I don't like the colors. Still bought a burgee and will fly it proudly because it's not about the color but what it symbolizes, a great Club of Sea Ray owners. So if you are in the NY waterways and you see a 2003 280 flying the CSR flag, give me a wave. Heck $30 is nothing to let other CSR members know who you are when they see it flying. who knows, it may pay off 10 different ways by meeting other CSR out on the water.

dito-turtle tone :smt038

I just thought the colors were so off they would stand out BIG time. so we could see all the CSR in the area  :smt043

Look guys, as many have stated, the color doesn't matter, it's the CSR that we are pushing here, you will be amazed that when it comes, it will look fine, seeing a sewn burgee will cause the other guys on the dock to see this and say "hey what's that". I don't plan on flying it as my only burgee from my bow staff, I belong to two yacht clubs and my local power squadron and my SR dealers cruising club, give me a chance and CSR will be flying... I'll bet I get alot of questions on this one! Go ahead ask me CSR.com

Couldn't have said it any better

Many of you have mentioned that it's not the color that matters........your're right....but nothing Black and Gold will fly on my boat.....I will maybe make my own CSR decal to pay Homage to this great site, the Admin's efforts and generosity......But I just can't swallow the Black and Gold Burgee.....Thanks John!

Ok guys I wanted to point out if you go back and read the thread; we were getting no where with the voting. A posting was made to make an executive decision which was done based on which one got the most votes. You are not going to hurt anyone's feeling because you do not order one. Jim is at best breaking even on these things. We just needed to get the process started so that we could get some out. If there is enough interest as time goes by I am sure Jim will do another one for us. This was a great opportunity for us to get 25 people to be willing to make the order which I assume we are at or at least close to; so we can see how good they turn out. Personally I wanted just black and white (had nothing to do with it matching the boat) but no one was willing to vote for it except for me, so black and gold is what I get.
