Where to buy JL Marine Audio Equipment? I've had no luck so far...

Am I the only one that thinks it is not cool to suggest direct competitors of our host, BOE Marine Electronics, on threads like this? If you want to plug the place you like the PM system works great and would not be a public posting to direct competitors of Jim.

Pyro, call me tomorrow and I'll get you squared away. There should be nothing wrong with our website prices, you could order there right now at those prices. JL is very inconsistent with their pricing, policies and quality which is why we focus on Wet Sounds now. No BS with Wet Sounds. JL specifically says on their site that stuff bought on sites like Amazon won't have warranty so be careful with that. Our JL pricing might not be the best, but it is less than Crutchfield and we are a known quantity.

Well as an update, I talked to Jim this morning and got the items quoted as I was looking for. Super great service and do appreciate Jim taking time out of his busy day to talk to me. I am looking at my options to see which route I want to go but do appreciate his time and effort on getting this information for me. I'll keep you guys posted on what I decide to do.

Well as an update, I talked to Jim this morning and got the items quoted as I was looking for. Super great service and do appreciate Jim taking time out of his busy day to talk to me. I am looking at my options to see which route I want to go but do appreciate his time and effort on getting this information for me. I'll keep you guys posted on what I decide to do.

Jim and the folks at BOE are top notch. I am nothing but happy with my electronics purchase and install. Jim is very responsive and always takes time to talk with you and answer your questions. I will have all my future electronics purchases installed by BOE.

I don't see a problem, and by the time I responded, I see tha Jim seconds it for the exact same reason. It keeps him honest. It is also great market research. He was able to get it out there that JL warranties are a PITA, and that as a result, Sonic Electronics does not offer the JL warrantee. If you aren't concerned with a warrantee, and want to take your chances, check it Sonic. If you want a company that can stand behind the product, then you will be looking at BOE Marine. Jim doesn't expect to get al of the sales of things from CSR, but what he gets is great market research. He learns how to compete better. Advantage, Jim.

The other thing that helped Jim and BOE Marine from this post, was the fact that Pyro was either given wrong information, or misunderstood what he was told. If he had not felt comfortable with posting here with a direct request for Jim's competitors, that would not have been corrected. By being open, Jim may have saved a sale. Even if he didn't, he certainly had another bite at the apple.

I have learned from running my business that the hardest, but most valuable thing is getting criticism. In the long run, I have grown from the criticism, more than anything. Jim is ABSOLUTELY doing the right thing here, and learned something from Pyro's post, and the responses to it. And we shouldn't discourage it.

They are a real dealer and you have a guaranteed warranty with them! Definitely the way for me to go for sure!
