Lurking. Still not warm enough and very windy in northern Wisc. But I have 3 boxes of stuff sitting in the office for the boat and am Jones'in pretty hard to get back on 'er.

Maybe the large number of lurkers is because there are more lurkers. A lot of new people just cruising around for general information.....?? Also-rebuilt the water pump in the outdrive and repainted. Anybody know where I can get get new decals for Alpha-1?

I did the same thing and put new stereo in and 12 disk CD changer in re finished the bow pulpit then I messed up my back so I haven't been able to do much for the last month. Just started to control the pain so I can do a few things. Going to see if my cousin can install the out drive for me.

Ugh......it certainly has not been out to work on the boat!! It has not been a fun year so far! However we have big hopes our luck is about to change! Buying a new home!!!! Finally!!!!

It just seems that the posts are down and everyone is lurking. I see that are lot of people are viewing. But the answers are there, everyone seems to be getting ready for the splash!

My guess is that people are going crazy getting ready to splash I know i am!!! I'll be working in the rain tomorrow with a tarp over the swim platform so that i can put on my new zincs, paint the drive & hopefully put on a new swim platform bracket. UGH! At least I can give her a bath and not worry about the hoses reaching from the building!:smt038

Whoever asked about the Alpha decals, I got two complete sets from ebay fairly cheap. I haven't even got my winter cover off yet, too busy with work. Was going to do it today but its raining, maybe next week.

IT is too cold up and and raining pretty good. I did a lot of work yesterday and was going to sand down where I fixed the gel coat, but the idea of standing in the rain sanding while it is cold changed my mind

I believe it should be an Alpha1. The originals said 454 magnum on them I think those have to come from the dealer and will be $100 or more

I hope it's an A-1, as we put an a-1 water pump kit in it. I am wondering if it is one of those out drives Sea Ray painted white and installed. My current badging on the lower unite says "Sea Ray". On the transom it says 7.4L. During the preperation for painting I wondered if there was an original coat of white or gray under the black . The black was a repaint and not a good one at that...

Ive been hanging out with the new girlfriend. Much more fun then hanging upside down in the bilge again. O'Yea, No turning wrenches. New parts are already back ordered again just like last year. Need to get the boat running for the new girlfriend :grin:
