How Many Pounds is your trailer Winch rated for? I know that technically your supposed to use a Winch that is rated for half the weight of your Boat but I'm having trouble locating a 3000 lb Hand Crank Winch that's not way over priced. I'm going to try and get my trailer in shape so I can use it to pull my boat to do the impeller but want to know if a 2500 lb Hand Crank Winch will work. I have dunked it with the Trailer before but never pulled it out of the drink, any advice for a first timer?
