What's your favorite Sea Ray?

Any of the 370 wide body expresses.

Dave, now you should start a post by asking what Sea Ray you like the least. Just a thought.

The Sea Ray I would like to upgrade to would be a 260 to a 280DA. I feel this is a boat that I could probibly find affordable one day. Anything bigger, the price will always be a little to pricey.

The 340 will always be in my heart. This is my dads I grew up on. Purchased new in '86 and sold in '99. Sundance with twin 454s

My second chose, and the next boat im going to purchase, a 27' or 32' pachanga!

My dream SeaRay, anything 50'+ with an enclosed cockpit

I have my dream boat....until we get the 2,3,4,5,10 footitis :wow:

680ss

A 1998 370 DA with CATS is near perfect. I love my current boat, I no longer dream of a larger Sea Ray.

Like our 330 now it is just right for us...

:smt038 Whew... Thank goodness there is a cure for wanting a larger Sea Ray... Too bad it starts at around 56-58 ft!!

My ultimate Sea Ray.... The next one...

But I really am leaning towards...

1. 99-2002ish - 480 Sedan Bridge
2. 99-2002ish - 460 Sundancer
3. 96-99ish - 450 Sundancer

If we gonna move up might as well make it count...

My absolute favorite has to be the 360 "T" Top.

Classic lines. WAY ahead of its' time. Huge inside and cockpit. Full size fridge.

I have 3 perspectives on this. One is reality, the second is opportunity, the third is pure impractical fantasy.

Reality: If I didn't have a boat and wanted a boat and went to the boat show and local dealers and was being realistic about what I could afford, my favorite Sea Ray would probably be a 2006-2008 290 Sundancer. That's what happened.

Opportunity: If I had a 2006-2008 290 Sundancer and I was comfortable with the payments and someone came to me and said I can trade you for a 2008 330DA with everything you are wanting in the 290 (more room, radar, bow thruster, DTS, Sea Core, generator, cockpit fridge, grill, side decks) for just a little bit more, my favorite Sea Ray would probably be the 2008 330DA. That's what happened.

Pure Fantasy: If I had a 2008 330DA and I dreamed about a boat that I will probably never afford, my favorite Sea Ray would probably be the 2010 610 Sundancer.

Back to reality. My favorite Sea Ray is the 2008 330DA. My favorite will always be something that is achievable. That way I die satisfied and am never disappointed.

Well... for the boating I do, my favorite is the 260 (496 B3). If I could afford bigger, I'd be quite happy with the 340.

Ah... the difference a couple good years can make...
lovin' the 290! It performs better than I thought it would and those lines... yummy!
C'mon summer time!!:smt038

Eventually I want to move into larger bridge boat so lets say a 480... in black of course!

We have good friends with a 55, nice boat and love the bow profile. We have always been partial to the 40, and anxiously awaited the 450 as possibly our "last boat" with the coupe and zeus. I don't know how anyone can afford a Sea Ray anymore, the 450 is up 40% over a similarly equipped 2009 40. We are now checking the Regal 44, Four Winns 435, and Cruisers 420. We are sort of "angry" that Sea Ray is so much more expensive than the competition and have priced us out of the market, for we are Sea Ray people!

98-2002 330 Express. Pretiest boat Sea Ray has made. In a close second the 2004-up 340DA's are quite nice

Looked at the 450 at the Seattle Boat show last weekend. Not digging the interior set up.

Mine is the 55DA for the exterior- that thing is all business. Put a black hull on it for an extra kick of bad-a$$ness

48 for overall best look at everything- interior and exterior

Believe the 340 DA is the best Sea Ray out there. Not because that is my current boat, but believe the 340 DA is perfect for vitually any conditions--small enough to execute tight docking maneuvers and go to those smaller marinas, but big enough to handle larger sea states and sleep on a queen bed. Those who I've talked to in the marina who have larger boats, always go back to a 340 DA with fondness and say it was their best boat--I agree!!!

I think that your favorite SeaRay is always the one you have at that particular time of your life. It has alot to do with $$$, but also that passion for something more. As you move along, you need different amenities, hence "bigger". I've been through 4 and the one I have now is it for now. From a 1986 185, to a 1987 240 WE, to a 2000 245, to my current 2004 260SD. We all have dreams and mine right now is a Sedan bridge in the 40's. Dream on.
