What do you use to tow your boats?

I use a 2007 Saab 97X ( actually a trailblazer) with a 4.3 to tow a 200 Sundeck all over Michigan. In and out of marinas and up and down hills with not problems.

I tow with a 2003 Toyota 4Runner Limited V8. Works great.

What the heck are you doing towing your boat around with the antenna straight up and down?

Getting good reception?????

When we tow, we have a 2001 Ford Excursion. We have towed the DQ with it and also our friends 270 Rinker with it. All I can tell you is it has a V-10 gets 11mpg and I just check the oil and make sure it has gas.

We also tow our seadoo with the Excursion, that I can tell you it's like nothing's back there. But when we tow the boat the Captain won't let me drive.

Well I tow mine with a 2007 Dodge ram 2500 wit the 6.7l cummings. It hauls very well but I am very disapointed with the 13mpg I am getting with all the new smog crap they put on there, but I can pick up speed in 6th gear up a hill with my 10k lb gooseneck so the boat is not an issue.

Keep putting the miles on your Cummins. Now mine is an 04, but when new, it was in the sub 15mpg range. Today with 112,000 miles, I get 24 on the highway and 20+ around the mountains. Now when I trailer my SS in the enclosed trailer, I get 10mpg. So get that big rig broke in and you will see that mpg go up. With the boat, I really can't say since I only trailer a mile to the lake.
