It's nice and light to carry, I did shoot a couple deer with it. About 20years ago my wife decided she was going to go deer hunting so that's the gun she used for a couple days. It looked pretty leaning against a tree while she sat reading her book....deer were walking right past her but she never saw them or fired a shot because she was always looking at the book. Two years she did that, never fired a shot. At the end of one day I checked her gun....she had forgotten to load it. She had fun 'hunting' though.Not a "RIFLE".

I've got one also. Lotta fun at the range. The "original" M1 is more fun, though.
