Totally agree that you don't need ANY trouble on your first trip...stay away from potential grounding in known skinny water. By the way...not sure if you've done it but TowBoat US or Seatow subscription is well advised before you head out.Sure, fair enough... but the main channels are scenic too, in the grand scheme of things... and it sounds like he wants minimum potential for kerfuffle for his upcoming "delivery" trip with new-to-him boat and an unfamiliar navigation area.

On our visit last year, we went to a new restaurant named Corah's Corner, liked it a lot. I was just looking at the map to refresh my memory, I see the house restaurant at St. Michaels Marina (Seafood House?) next to Foxy's has closed and been replaced by a new place named Blu Miles that opened this month. It's getting good reviews albeit from a small number of patrons so far.
View attachment 125029 Goodbye St Michaels, what an amazing charming town destination. That Sea Ray sedan was anchored outside the channel all weekend.
Maybe number one on our list now. Minus the traffic and loud cars on Talbot Street. We were told it gets pretty crowded and packed in season.

Easy run just north of Rock Hall https://tolchestermarina.com/Also thinking about wandering up the Chester River for a weekend trip, looks like Rock Hall is on the river? Is that a good place to spend the weekend or are there other options?
Any other destinations North of Kent Island we should check out?
