To pull or not to pull??

I think pulling them is the right thing to do. There's a lot of corrosion and cleaning that would make you feel better when its' all done. You might get away with pulling one engine and having space to get around things, I guess time and money is always a big question mark. When it's done, it's going to look awesome!

The outside appears to be in great shape! I hope the seats are as good as the hull appears!

The boat is in really good shape for the age of it. My guess is that the prior owners took care of the inside and had shops do anything in the engine compartment and only when it really needed something done.

We have removed the old electronics (Off shore radio & Depth Sounder) and are in the process of installing Garmin electronics. The cool thing about it (at least I think so) was that it still had the factory Searay am/fm cassette radio and it still works...

I'm still figuring out how to work the picture hosting site. Hope the pictures turn out.

Lugnutz, with all due respect, that boat's not "in really good shape". That boat looks to be nearly showroom new!! Awesome, I love it.

Come on, tell the truth, you pulled those pictures from the Sea Ray brochure didn't ya?

Naa, that’s really the inside, no brochure or anything. The carpet has some wear in it and there is a big (looks like engine oil) stain just in front of the wood floor.

I guess the boat (1[SUP]st[/SUP] owner) belonged to an airplane pilot and he only used the boat every now and again when he was in town. He ordered it with all the bells and whistles comparing it to the brochure and options that were available and the generator only has 85 hours on it.

The second owner said he owned it for about seven years and the receipts he gave to me has one engine replacement and then some miscellaneous goofy boat buck stuff.

Here' s a couple more pictures. I tried to enlarge them a bit.

Wow! She is a beauty! With the clean layout you have I would definitely be pulling them both. Looks and sounds like most of it's attention has been outside the engine covers. Well worth the extra time and $$ to bring her back to near new condition IMHO. If for nothing else, to gain the confidence in it's reliability. I can live with a few stains but do not want to be the guy radioing for help.
