This summers gas prices....

Just filled up my truck last night. $5.85! For diesel! Almost had to swipe my credit card a third time…

Haven’t had to fill up the boat since this madness (Ukraine) started. It’s coming though. Can’t wait…

Just saw this on Facebook…..not funny :)

$4.85 here east ky diesel

Sam's at $3.68 this morning. $3.59 last night. Is anyone wondering about price gouging besides me?
Yes. I posted the other day either here or over at an RV site that diesel went up 60 cents over night. Well that same station was 10 cents more the next morning! I’m not sure how the fuel stations do business, I know when we did contracting work we hated being the bank on projects. Not sure how long the stations can stretch out the suppliers or if they even have to. But a station may have to raise prices somewhat on fuel in the ground to afford the next 10,000 gallons, but raising prices continuously day after day doesn’t sound right.

The whole “station” era is largely over, with fewer and fewer independent companies around. One Company runs the convenience store while the oil company like Shell or BP runs the gas. Ask if the folks in the store have anything to do with the setting of prices…

based on banks estimates worst case we are going to look at 220 per barrel in due time which will equal high 7.xx at the pump on land. God knows what the on the water price will be. I hate to say it but we have talked about not taking the shrink wrap off the big boat this year. This is gross.

Duh!!

If oil goes up 30%, then the gas price should go up by relatively the same percentage in order for the oil companies to make the same profit.

But it hasn't worked that way. Their profits are soaring.

You 80 million bozos that voted for Biden better be pretty proud of yourselves…. You did it. Destroyed the economy and created a war…..you are over achievers that’s for sure..

It's just shameful that this country won't re-establish our energy independence...it's freakin' infuriating that Biden is so sodden with the woke left. Russia and Iran have got us by the short hairs thanks to the incompetence of our weak leadership. He will pay for this in 2024!
Let's hope the payments start in 2022.

Only the people can shape our government. That means they need to get out and vote. No excuses!

The root problem is that people can’t distinguish urgent from important. Urgent problems need solutions now. No other priorities. Important problems need solutions, but after the triage is done. War, economy, etc. is urgent. Global warming, gender neutral bathrooms is important, but after we get the world stable. Basically, important is a luxury for 1st world countries.
