This summers gas prices....

I agree RBB……just think of all the less congestion on the waterways this summer as the “Dock Queens” grow in numbers. It will be like the highways in the summer of 2020.
The highways in the summer of 2020 were packed around our neck of the woods. Couldn’t tell a Tuesday from a holiday. No one was working and they were all out spending their helicopter money.

I certainly hope you are right. But our experience in the Summer of 2020 was just the opposite.

Lots of people took driving vacations instead of flying. Our roads were more congested than ever.

Also, many people bought boats and that made the waterways crowded with clueless newbies. We actually had to do all of our boating on weekdays because it was much safer.
Not here in the Midwest it was like a federal holiday everyday.

If fuel prices continue to rise, and it appears they will, there will be a lot of boats parked or sold this summer.mine won’t be one of them. I might have to pass the hat for the first time ever…..lol.

no change so far today in regular. Still 4.39 but diesel is up to 5.39 and 5.49 at my 2 closest stations

Well, they raised it again. $4.60 on the way to taking my daughter to the airport so I figured I was at a half tank, I would buy it on the way back to the rv park. They hiked it 20 cents during that time. So did the rest of them, the place down the street was almost $5.

$115 got me 24 gallons, exactly half of a tank.
In my truck, that’s $70 more per tank full than when we left home end of December. That’s just a pick up truck. Transport industry is going to be handing down some big increased costs. Skyrocketing inflation, then the recession.

I remember when gas prices spiked like this. Republic, The local trash company started adding a fuel surcharge to pick up my trash.

I have 2 Wheel Drive Suburban that I put in storage every year after Thanksgiving. I take off the comprehensive insurance to save dollars.

Oh , it’s stored with a full tank of gas, 42 gallons. It’s has $178.92 worth of gas in it.

It’s gonna cost me a lot more than last year to go up to Muskegon Michigan this year. My suburban gets 11 miles per gallon towing the boat and the captains car gets 15 miles per gallon towing the camper.

When I get there I’m gonna have to put probably 40 gallons of gas in the boat, 72 gallon tank. I used to store it full of gas, but that adds 500# towing.

Biden blaming Russia for our continually rising fuel price. However I see it differently, had he not shut everything down in our country we was a net exporter. Along with that we could have been the supplier to Europe and deprived Putin of the $$$ to attack Ukraine.
Its obvious that their military is not up to par, infact I think if this siege last a couple more weeks Russia will be done.

Ukraine is giving him hell that's for sure but he'll probably bomb the heck out of the cities and level them, then send the ground troops in to do clean up. Some 'experts' think that's the real reason that big convoy hasn't moved, they're staying out of the way.

Ha ha, I haven't stepped foot in Taco Bell since a TV station in Florida did a report where they went undercover to a few fast food restaurants. Taco Bell was the worst by far. It sure is popular up here in the Detroit area though. I don't get it.

With the wave of a pen oil production in parts of Texas can double, Alaska is begging to increase production.

If the current administration is not trying to sink this country what would they do differently if they were?
