Most of you who should watch this won't because your bias will not allow you to hear the truth.

I just hope some will watch and learn.

If you do listen please, try to convince me his facts are wrong :smt001

“Bernard "Bernie" Sanders (born September 8, 1941) is the junior United States Senator from Vermont, elected on November 7, 2006. Before becoming Senator, Sanders represented Vermont's at-large district in the United States House of Representatives for 16 years. Sanders also served as mayor of Burlington, Vermont from 1981 through 1989.

Sanders is a self-described democratic socialist, and has praised European social democracy. He is the first person elected to the U.S. Senate to identify as a socialist. Sanders caucuses with the Democratic Party and is counted as a Democrat for the purposes of committee assignments, but because he does not belong to a formal political party, he appears as an independent on the ballot. He was also the only independent member of the House during much of his service there. He is one of two independent Senators in the 111th Congress, along with Joe Lieberman.”

Hmmmm, Sounds like someone with a Real, Work Hard American Spirit!

Typical “Limousine Liberal” preaching about how bad the top 1% is when he is most likely part of that very group. I wonder how many of his $174,000 Base Salary Pay Checks have gone un-cashed? I wonder how many deductions he claims on his taxes every year?

Pack, if I thought you'd listen, I'd debate it. Bottom line, there is no perfect system. In capitalism there are some abuses and some people are miserable. In socialism, there are lots of abuses and everyone is miserable (thanks Maggie Thatcher). What Bernie is proposing is that those people not currently miserable, choose to become miserable so that the distance in apparent misery between various levels of productivity is not quite as evident.

Try it out for me and let me know how it works out.

He's even more of a socialist than Obama... Trust me, I know, he's my state embarrassment ( I mean senator...) He's an a*s, plain and simple... elected by the granolies that have infested this state since woodstock in '69.(their thumbs got sore on the way back from the concert - I'd have gladly stuck them up their ars*es, and booted them out of the state if I'd had my way) They don't work, they only live off others that do. If you want to live in that type of environment, I suggest you move 90 miles south of Florida.

blah, blah, blah, socialism, blah, blah, blah.

I know ALL the talking points, I have heard all the hollow arguments and still our country goes down the tube.

Cut social programs and more free trade is the answer?
Will old people dying in the streets make us a better country?
Will children begging in the streets make us a better country?
Will 50-60% of our population working for Chinese wages make us a better country?

I really want to know because all I see is another conservative depression and millions (maybe hundreds of millions) unemployed in this countries near future.

I see a government almost completely controlled by corporations and billionaire individuals. How much longer before they tell us we don't have enough property or assets to vote?

Honestly, I want some answers. What Bernie Sanders is saying sounds very close to the truth to me but I'm still listening. Like you all are so fond of saying this last election was a mandate from real Americans.....OK, a mandate for WHAT? Tell me, don't recite talking points. Explain to me how our lives will be made better following the same policies that got us in this mess.

Honest to gawd, I want to know.

I think you should possibly have a GED or High School Diploma to vote. That shows you have at least a little knowledge and have put forth some effort!

Whats a conservative depression? Because the way people live off of others certainly makes this conservative depressed!

So are you saying you don't agree with how Obama and the Dems have been running the government for nearly 2 years now and Congress for the last 4? By Billionaire individuals, are you talking about George Soros and those types?

Good question...............

Sooner or later Obama, Reid and Polsi will have to take ownership and stop blaming Bush...............

When I hear: We can afford the tax cuts because it will cost us xx million of dollars!

Since when is dipping in my pocket and making my pay check smaller costing the federal government?

Reagonomics did work, just look at history...

I think I would call that a deflection if I ever heard one.....

There for a minute I thought we were going to agree on something. :smt009

See, our democracy becoming an oligarchy is already well on its way.

The reason you hear the drumbeat of people pounding socialism is that is doesn't work...never has...just sounds good. Pack, why do you think these examples are cause and effect? Compare the old people dying in the streets and children begging and 50-60% of the people working for LESS than Chinese wages in countries with managed economies and those in free market economies...free markets win (by the way, we don't have that now in America...we have the most overtaxed and are approaching the most regulated business environment in history). Gut government, reduce regulation, and get out of the way...a rising tide will even raise your boat.

If you think money should be kicked out of politics, no campaign contributions, no lobbyists, no PAC's, no liberal OR conservative money PERIOD then yes we agree.

Wow Pack, I think we may be able to find some common ground after all.

Can we add Welfare Checks to Buy Liberal Votes to the list of things to take away?

If we shut down all the PACs I am not sure George Soros will know what to do with all those Billions though.

Pack,
If you are that unhappy here in the United States, why don't you find someplace else where life would be more to your liking? I think most of us would like to know where this place is.

He's just pissed 'cause he doesn't have a big boat.
Which of my boats are you talking about jackwad?

And unlike some of the faux rich "big boat" guys, I paid cash for my boats. I own my stuff, not the bank. Pretty darn conservative of me don't you think?
