The Grim reaper strikes. Official death thread

Gil de Ferran, the 2003 Indianapolis 500 winner and holder of the closed-course land speed record, died Friday while racing with his son at The Concourse Club in Florida, multiple former colleagues confirmed to The Associated Press. He was 56.

Cale Yarborough was one of NASCARs tough guys. Take a look at the fight at the end of the 1979 Daytona 500. Put NASCAR on the map.

Reggie Savage who played for the Washington capitals. He scored his first goal on a penalty shot against the Minnesota north stars. I remember the caps won 5-4 at the cap center and it was in November. Sad to see him gone so young.

I remember him. I think he had a purple/yellow car. Made Hawaiian pizza famous.

I remember the name but not much else about him.

I really liked that show. Watched it all the time. Almost bought a Starsky and Hutch Torino when you could get one from Ford.
I just had my daughter watching reruns a few months ago. It really was corny watching it today. But I enjoyed it back then.
