Now maybe you can all help me out. I just got an email from Sea Ray with the subject:

"The final days of the summer never ends event"...

If it "never ends", how can it be the final days? And... they said I need to hurry because:

"By including your full address below, residents of the United States and Canada will receive a free 4-pound coupon sample of Nutro Natural Choice super premium pet food."

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HURRRYY!!!! QUICK!!!! WE NEED THE DOG FOOD!!!!!!

It just kills me that SOMEONE at Sea Ray really thinks that the dog food will entice people to fill out the form and buy a boat. If it wasn't so sad, it would be funny... better hurry before the end of the never ends event.
 
OK... I just filled out the form. I better get my freekin' dog food. It appears they bought 40,000 pounds (20 tons) of it.

I can just see this marketing meeting at Sea Ray:

Sea Ray Marketing VP: "We need a way to get warm leads to our dealers in this market downturn... give me some ideas"

Marketing dork who got bad grades in college: "I have an idea"

Sea Ray Marketing VP: "What is it? We are desperate."

Marketing dork who got bad grades in college: "Let's buy 20 tons of dog food and give it away to people that fill out a web form and those will be 'warm leads' for our dealers."

Sea Ray Marketing VP: "That's a GREAT idea. I need to leave and get my Latte now. Make it so."

Marketing dork who got bad grades in college: "And we can have a drawing for a single dog life jacket with everyone who enters. People will be buying many more boats. This is good."

Sea Ray Marketing VP: "Don't bother me with the details... should we buy a dog food company? Get some dog pictures on the web site. Call Michael Vick... he's looking for a job and can help us out. I hear he's a dog person."
 
What Sea Ray is actually saying is, after spending all your money on gas you will only be able to eat dog food.
 
Hope the dog food doesn't have any additives from China!

I can see it now, class action lawsuit against Sea Ray in dog food scandal!!

I'll stick with Fancy Feast thanks >^..^<

It's kind of like what Gary said about the final days of the summer that never end's final days. :huh: Must be some Secret society code

My guess is don't eat the dog food or drink the purple kool-aid and all is right with the world
 
I got my other two emails this AM...............that makes 4 emails they sent me. I guess they are desparate! :smt017

Maybe the next promo will give away cat food.............or gerbil food........or free Sea Ray Snow Scrapers..........or a three year supply of Sea Ray Chewing Gum.

DECISIONS, DECISIONS, DECISIONS...............I am sure the Sea Ray marketing guys are hard at work on this one and probably will send me five emails the next time since four didn't entice me to fill out the "form". :smt043
 
I guess they are just thumbing their noses at us folks who have cats...

Look like I need to trade the Sea Ray for another brand. :smt089
