The FINAL DAYS OF THE SUMMER NEVER ENDS EVENT!!!!

That is so bad it's insulting. What a bunch of morons. Who wants to buy a boat from a company that comes up with such a retarded marketing idea. Plus who knows what the heck the stuff is, genuine Chinese import, probably would give the dogs the shits. (if it doesn't kill em)

That's about as bad as the MM sale I went to over the weekend... We went to look at the new 310 DA and a couple of others. When we got there almost every boat on the lot had a huge sold sign hanging off of it... I told my salesman that it looked like they had a great weekend of boat sales. He looked at me, cocked his head to the side and tells me under his breath that there were only 5 boats that had sold, and this was something devised by their marketing dept. to exite customers by impressing them with all the boats it looked like they sold... I just shook my head and said goodbye...

Now you guys have gone and done it. You have made me feel like a total idiot! :smt014

I was so excited about the free dog food and how much I would save that I agreed to trade my old 270 for a 410. Now that you all have made me stop and think about it, I realize the savings on the dog food will not cover the payments on the new 410. :smt013

My dog won't get on the little 270, but I had visions of grandeur of him sitting proudly alongside me at the helm of the 410. But you have spoiled the vision, and reality has set in, and there is just no way the retirement check will cover payments on the 410. :smt089

So, apparently there was some way you all were able to see through this as just a slick marketing ploy, and I fell for it. Oh well....

Gotta to cancel that contract and get my old boat back quick!

I'm waiting for the dog food company they used to give away a Sea Ray now

I find it intersting that y'all have latched onto the dog food idea instead of the message that this is a promotion for the "Dog Days" of summer.

A more astute observation may be why the marketing guys in Knoxville didn't figure that one out before making up an ad that appeared that Sea Ray was partnering with 'Ol Roy, Kibble N bits or whoever the heck it is......

Bet they sell more dog food than boats!

I would buy 400lbs of dog food from her in a heartbeat.

Me too!

But my cat is going to hate eating dog food for the next 10 years. I just hope I can convince Ms. SC to come by and feed her twice a day. I wonder if she'd fall for the old "the cat won't eat unless dinner is served by someone wearing nothing but a thong"?

Naaa... she sounded too sharp to fall for that one...

Fred...I wonder how they would handle the situation if a customer was really interested in a boat that had a sold sign on it....oh that boat is not really sold...

No, that boat WOULD have been sold. Just pending sea trial and "financing".

We are expecting one just like it later in the week. Why don't you go aboard for a look?
