Just wanted to thank CSR, SR Tech and all of the other members that gave me advice on my boat project. I also wanted to thank Mary at Prince William Marina for all the parts she looked up and sent me. She was very nice and went way out of her way to make sure I got the right parts. She even called to make sure I got the right parts. I will post more pics soon. The old owner didn't know the word clean. She ( the boat not my wife) is starting to be a happy boat again. The trailer is next.

Thanks for the great comments. I also wanted to thank Douglee25 who took the time to make a material list for my job, Keokie for the heads up on the foam and Nehalennia for the nice oil drain hose kit suggestion. Today I rebuilt the carb and detailed the gas tank fill tube area and have new blower hose and clamps. I should have carpet by next week. I am very thankful for all of the comments l will post more pics in the fiberglass section as things progress. Thanks again!

Nice!! I've dealt with Mary from PW Marina also in ordering some stuff when I did my "restoration" to bring back my boat. She was the one who helped me out, when other Sea Ray dealers wouldn't budge.
I love your boat, perfect size, great looks. When we upgrade to a Sundancer, and if I get rid of our current boat, I'll be looking for an older one that needs some TLC to restore and enjoy.

Glad things worked out. Happy to help. I was curious how you were making out and that's when I decided to do a search. I was pleasantly surprised to see you completed the work. Nice job!

Thanks Doug, I still have alot of work to do but I am starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel. I just finished the carb. I repaced the fuel pump, valve cover gaskets, power steering cooler, both water pumps, plugs and tune up items. I will be painting the exhaust parts and trim pump tonight and the carpeting is on order. I am building a new teak ski storage cover for the floor and I will update pics in the fiberglass and engine section soon. Thanks again.
