Does anyone here have Tapatalk on a BLACKBERRY working properly with CSR? Initially after the upgrade, mine was working fine then Tuesday it started acting up. I just get a strange error when trying to connect to CSR. Initially I thought it was a problem with CSR because it was still working fine with other forums. Now I am not so sure as I have found others reporting this problem with different forums but that has only been a few so I not sure if it is a problem with Tapatalk in general or a problem with the TT for BB not liking a certain version of VBulliten, really just trying to gather some info. Since the BB app is Beta there is little or no support for it. Some Iphone users said they had to re-install Tapatalk to get it to work post-upgrade but from what has been posted, Android users are fine. I have tried a re-install twice with no success.

What I am trying to determine is if there is anyone here with a Blackberry that has Tapatalk working to try and get an idea where the problem is- rather it be global or isolated. And, I know Iphone and Android users are working fine. If you have any info or idea on what may be causing this problem with BB, please share. Thanks

I'm waiting until I hear it is working (grin)

Tapatalk for my iPhone has been on the fritz too. It won't load "new" messages.

You guys still having issues? I cant see any new messages???

You need to make sure you have the latest version that was just uploaded to BB Appworld last week. That version is almost perfect. Previous versions will not work well, or at all. The new developer just released the first "clean" release that has most of the bugs cleaned up.

Sorry, should of read the post a little more closely. I an using tapatalk from a iPhone.

For some reason, no new posts comes up since last visit. I am running the newest iPhone version 1.12.x...

OK, no problem, I would highly recommend going to the Tapatalk support forum (listed below) for support on these type of issues if you plan to use this app. The whole Tapatalk app seems to be very useful but a bit disorganized from a development/support standpoint. I have found, at least with the BB developer, he is pretty responsive with user issues.

I have TapaTalk 1.395 for my Blackberry. It works fine on other forums but errors out here on CSR. I bet you're right about the forum plugin being outdated with the new upgrades recently to TT. Great program when it works!

Bingo! That did the trick. Thanks!

New Android user here...what does Tapatalk buy me that I can't get from just going direct to the forum and typing in my message/reply? I have used my internet browser on the phone to come here and have made posts, no problem. I had a banner about installing Tapatalk, but I've wondered why I need it?

The only thing I can see you get from it is the annoying "Sent from my xxxxx using Tapatalk" that appears on any Tapatalk users post...

The annoying tag can easily be turned off in your preferences. TapaTalk just makes accessing your forums quicker and easier. It can show you all the unread messages, messages you've subscribed to, etc. For me it's a lot easier and quicker to use it rather than open a browser and go that way. Try it for your self and see.

Lets just say this. It makes participating in the forum a he** of a lot easier than via web on a mobile device. It essentially "converts" the forum to mobile format. Well worth the 3.99 IMO.

Thanks for the info. I wanted to try it but didn't want to pay -first-...I don't think I saw that there was a trial.
