Good luck on your venture. I will saw those alibaba sites are horrible. Ive never had any luck getting a response that felt legit.
Have you checked out Tuk Tuk North America? They sell a DOT approved Tuk Tuk and even have an electric version.
We live in a tourist trap...errr town and I've looked at running a couple of these around in the summer. My city wants a taxi license so I shelved that idea for now, I was just looking to be able to hire a couple guys and let them loose, not pay a hack fee too.... Sorry for the rant.
