So, lets talk weather....

It was in the 30's on the morning dog walk and we hit 53° this afternoon. A winter storm warning just came out. It'll be a mess tomorrow. And for sure, I'm not going to be a happy dog walker in the morning.
Walk the dog?? I just open the door and let them out, they go to the edge of the lawn do their business then come running back. Ya gotta train them right.

Still dark out but from what I can see, I've got a free pool out back. 3/4 of an inch of rain so far with frozen ground. Ugh... 5-7 inches of snow on the way staring around 3pm. That's after some freezing rain. Double ugh. :(

Supposed to be 78 today, front hits tonight, single digit lows for wed-fri. Not supposed to get any moisture with this next system

After a weekend following two weeks of above normal temps on the 70's, we are set to chill to the 50's finally with a chance of some precip this week.

Fixing to melt the snow we got last week. The gale blew some areas clear over the weekend. The piled up snow will be around for a while though. After tomorrow, back in the deep freeze until the first week of March.

We have a snow emergency and suppose to get 5-7” of snow at home. I’m not at home but instead fishing with customers at the Canadian border. Admiral won’t be happy today dealing with the drifts in the driveway.

In January and February, Florida can end up with some cold weather north of Okeechobee. Keys aren't affected much by cold fronts. I sure wouldn't schedule a vacation to the attractions during that time period. Too iffy.
I moved from Florida 2 years ago and I'm second guessing that decision right now....

Yes, for sure. Had some chilly days earlier this month, but the last week has been great in St Augustine. We kind of like no a/c at night. Great beach day today, but not many in the water.

off to Ft Myers next week. Hope it’s not too hot. It was too hot last March for us.
Next year we are booked in Clearwater for Feb and back here in St Augie for March. Hoping to get a couple weeks in Ft Myers and St Lucie in Jan.
