It was 8 at my house at 7am this morning Mike. The forcast is for -1 tonight, high of 9 tomorrow.Last night it got down to around 10*. Right now, at 4:30 p.m. it's 15* and probably get down to around 8*-9* tonight. Match that up to our 10mph wind we're getting now and it's downright cold.
I’ve been shoveling daily. Here’s Saturday on the deck. Then below the deck from the walkout. I’m encroaching a 6’ pile. Looking forward to the next couple of days with drifting snow and 40mph winds. Still having fun tho…Hey now...View attachment 137894
I love that Race Deck. I had that installed in the workshop at my last home. Nice shed!If we are showing off our garages...
Well, here in "Hotlanta", the weather-pukes are calling for a high of 19 and low of 9 for Friday. Us "southern boys" ain't used to this!
Good move Ollie, having a generator sure takes the stress out of winter power outages. So the last two days I’ve spent wiring up a power transfer switch to the main breaker panel. I wired it for heat, the refrigerators and freezer as well as the internet, to run off the portable genny. We lost power last Wednesday during the heavy snow we had. With the forecasted blizzard conditions, I didn’t want to be without power to heat the home. Luckily we had a fireplace to use last week.
