I'm always looking for the best deal and hoping I can find something in the 15k range. Might need the big three addressed but I won't keep this long so I never want to spend a lot of money on my impulse purchases.

Yeah, one reason I stayed away from these when I purchased the 335i convertible. M3s are nice though, I had a 2002 330Ci convertible 5 spd before the 335i.So my new idea as of 130am on Saturday is to buy an 03-05 BMW M3 convertible. They seem reasonably priced but have this nagging issue of "the big three" items that need to be addressed. That just made shopping for this car a bit more challenging. Of course there is a really nice one in CA. Not that I haven't had a car, or boat, shipped to me but why can't it be right around the corner??
Wife's mom just bought one, I can't get past the grillJust bought this 2023 Lexus RX…. Mine is a 2022 ES….. you would be amazed how Lexus stepped up their technology in just one year…. got rid of the Mercedes GLS…… only vehicle I have ever traded with brand new parts in the back ……..no more German crap

All good, just putting it out there, and using recent BAT results as a gauge. Makes for a good excuse to hit Barrett Jackson again next January at any rate.
Had one of those about 5 years ago also. Needed a LOT of help when I bought it for $3500, put another $2200 into it and sold it 5 months later for $11k. That turned into a really nice car. M-sport, Monaco blue over coral red, lot of options. Wish it had the carbon fiber trim.
When were you there? I try to make a track night there at least every couple of months. Rough challenging track.Spec Miata at SebringView attachment 140056
I think it was September when I bought a 300zx Twin Turbo. Fun car but it's time to try something different. My rationale is the M3 vert really could be an everyday car, providing the weather is OK.

I am still loving my 2018 M3, but there was an itch that needed to still be scratched. A black on black 1996 Cobra was my first car and that started something.. Since then I have had an 88 LX made to look like a 93 Cobra, a Torch Red 03 Cobra, Chrome Yellow 98, another Black 97 Cobra, and now another Chrome Yellow 98. I think this one will be a keeper.
These cars are just cheap fun, loud and basic, my F150 is probably just as fast honestly. I just spent way too much time on a paint correction and ceramic coating, I need to get to work on the Sea Ray!

Let us know when you have it at Barrett or on BAT. I follow everyday and love watching cars I know go across. I bought my 70 Mach 1 at Barrett in LV. The next year they used it's picture for their promotions.
My pinhead is somewhere in that crowd back there

A lot of travel - is your son stepping into a different series? The spec Mazda is probably one of the most competitive and cost effective. Wasn't he was dedicated to the open wheel cars.We were there 3 weeks ago, again this past weekend. And are trying to get there in 2 weeks to run TA2
