Site Upgrade this Thursday & Friday - Site may go down for a while

The site is getting a major upgrade that has been in the works for 2 months. Thursday eve and Friday the upgraded site will go into place and be tested. It may be down all of Friday.

Nothing really new. Just the latest and greatest software from xenforo.

I did not realize we did not have a SSL. I can fix that easily. Pretty sure it was there at some point.

Will it fix the error messages that just started lately about pics being too large to load?

The bigger annoyance is that the current site does not recognize the EXIF information on photos and automatically rotate them. Particularly on iPhone, unless you first edit the photo (by cropping) the site will often post images sideways or upside down. There's no way to tell which image will be rotated and which won't because they all look OK on the phone. This gets old in a hurry. Hopefully the new version will fix it.

This could be unique to iPhones. I have never experienced this from my Android phone in all my years here. I am not saying Androids are better; I am sharing this in case it helps diagnose/trouble shoot the issue.
