This is my first posting on Club Sea Ray and I want to say hello to all of the members.
I have a Quicksilver 7.5G generator on my 1991 Sundancer. The voltage when the generator is running cycles between 0 (zero) and 195 volts. I shut the generator down and had no damage to systems on the boat. My best guess is that the regulator on the Q/S is bad and I have a new regulator. (Zbatt power systems carries parts for the Q/S generators).
Question:
Does anyone know where I can download the service manual for the generator on the unit. I can find the service manual for the engine and the engine electrical system but have not been able to find a service manual for the generator. (I need some guidance on trouble shooting and parts installation instructions).
Thanks!!!
