Saw some really flattering video of 3 mounties throwing knees at the head and body of a trucker they were holding down. Kind of a George Floyd moment, but apparently the trucker wasn't on drugs and didn't have a heart condition, so he lived. He said he took the beating "like a man".

Okay, a man. But a smart man would not have been there in the first place. He had fair warning of what was coming. George Floyd, not so much.

I guess most smart people with good stuff out there will lock it up. I'm not a fan of China considering their violations of basic human rights but the U.S. had Gitmo. Living in a glass house?

George Floyd was fresh off of committing a crime and resisted arrest, so he should have known that things would turn. He didn't deserve to die for it, and the argument can be made that with the levels of drugs in his system, he was dead already and just didn't know it. I'm not sure how much warning is appropriate for being held down by three police officers and repeatedly kneed. But I wasn't present at either event and can only go by the videos so I won't argue the point.

George Floyd was an African-American man who was murdered by police officer Derek Chauvin in Minneapolis, Minnesota, during an arrest after a store clerk suspected Floyd may have used a counterfeit twenty-dollar bill, on May 25, 2020.

Your "facts" and your credibility are suspect, as well Blueone.

Your observations are cogent and valid except for the fact that George Floyd was only suspected of passing a counterfeit $20 bill. No crime was committed other than by Chauvin.

If Floyd wouldn't have resisted arrest, he would still be alive today.

More basic education for Blueone:
A clerk, when presented with a suspected counterfeit bill must refuse or retain the bill at financial institutions. It should be reported to Treasury. Presenting a counterfeit bill is not, in itself, a crime. There is no way to know who created the counterfeit bill.
