OMG. About as newsworthy as the Khardashians. Mental teen-agers in big trucks honking loud horns and the community doesn't like it. Shocking!

Meanwhile, Elon Musk will have autonomous semis on the road soon, making these "truckers" even more useless.

Elon Musk is killing people with his "self driving car". Unlikely there will be "autonomous" 80,000# trucks anytime soon. But you did make my point about Canadians, I guess it isn't just the politicians. Oh, and who are the "Khardashians"?

35,000+ people die in auto accidents in the USA every year. Do you think Elon is more or less lethal than Mary Barra?

And I don't think either one is lethal, just like I don't think gun and ammunition manufacturers are lethal. Sh!t, if we are going to talk about a product's misuse causing death, I don't think hammer, baseball bat, knife, trampoline, bouncy house or boat manufacturers are lethal. Nor are swimming pool contractors.

Well, not just Musk. Rivian has standing orders from some of the largest trucking companies in the U.S.: FedEx, Purolator, Ryder, among them. The infrastructure is going in on the major routes, right now. Lease agreements are signed. They can't wait to cut fuel and maintenance costs by 2/3 and cut the operator costs to zero. Of course 100 years ago, guys like you were still investing in livery stables and the telegraph. "Automobiles and electricity are killing people!"

Yeah, those horrible Canadians. Some of the few friends the U.S. has left! For now...

There weren't guys like me 100 years ago. Plus, what are livery stables and the telegraph? We had rotary phones and cars when I was born. With friends like blackface Trudeau, who needs enemies?

Only one person died as a direct result of our capital protest, an unarmed female veteran named Ashley Babbit who was shot by a bitch capital officer (never named , of course) who killed her in cold blood without warning.

Juliery (he/she?) reaches conclusions with very little information and makes sweeping judgments on people having never met them or having any idea who they are. An analogy would be I look at his/her posts, decide they are douchey and call him/her a douche bag. But I wouldn't do that because it's impossible to tell who someone is based on posts on an anonymous forum. So instead I will just say "typical socialist Canadian". And I can say that because I have one in the family.
