I will clean this up but here’s what that looks like.

Well, for the Autopilot, yes, but something’s still going on. My VHF is on the ST backbone. Same terminal block along with the Raystar 125 and I’m not getting GPS on the VHF nor does the Axiom see the Raystar. Replaced the CR2032 in the Raystar just to be sure. It’s flashing green like it’s got a position lock. But something isn’t right. I don’t see how a terminal block could be the issue as it’s such a simple contraption.Glad that you figured it out!
Thanks for the info. I was playing around with the head unit the other day and notice that there is a trip meter in the unit (my head unit is mounted under the helm as I get the data i need from the mfd). I notice that it must have been logging trips as it has a record of 14k miles. Would I lose this with the newer unit?@Irie08
As usual..it depends!!
You probably have 2 separate transducers an ST800 installed in a 120 style through hull and a D800 installed in a 17 style thru hull, both connected to a Tridata head unit. The transducers are cheap, and easily replaced, but require a head unit to convert signal and display/pass data to a network. I think I paid $70 for a new ST800 and all works well. (Look back at post #13)
You can ditch the tridata head unit and install a N2K Airmar DST800 transducer onto your network, but those units seems to have issues with it temperature sensor and it only lasts a season or two. These DST units fit in the 17 style thru hulls and you can install the plug in the 120 style through hull.
I've posted elsewhere that have a new version out called the DST810. I'm hoping Airmar has fixed the temp sensor issue, but I'm going to wait and see. The setup is now via BT and app.
For me pulling a new analog ST800 transducer is a stop gap measure until I see how the new DST810's work.
